Campfire seems to try to balance all spells, so for example if you only lost 2 big heals and 2 small heals, it starts refreshing them like small heal, big heal, small heal, big heal etc.

Each spell gets restored equally. Each spell has a specific amount of "restoration" required before you get a cast back.

For example. It might take 20 spell points to restore a magic missile, but 35 to restore a fireball. A normal rating campfire lasts long enough to restore say 50 spell points in total.

Blocking has had issues for a while. There were talks about a full block rework at some time as it works right now if the weapon hits any part of your body you will take dmg so the models need work. There was a minor block balance change in test 2 but I don't know if their full block rework has actually happened yet however I doubt it has.

A big thing to note is many spells are affected by the headshot and limb modifiers. So the difference between unloading a fireball or a full 10 magic missiles into a mob's arms vs. their head is huge. I'd suggest getting the enflame weapon and using that to deal with mobs the same way other melee would, but otherwise be aiming for the head with spells.

Oh they're around, usually in bigger rooms that often contain bosses. They're just glowy red rocks, maybe look like they're like 2 ft by 2 ft in size
