The daggers have different attack animations and damage. The Castillion dagger, for instance, has 2 wide swipes which suck for hallways/corners, but the 3rd hit has a massive damage increased with it's head stab
So dual wielding allows you to chamber combos, animation cancel and can be stat sticks

I don't think it's possible unless you kill it before those mechanics come out. Unless the damage values changed based on the amount of people in the room, but I doubt that. You would have an easier time attempting to kill the other boss. The only big issue on that one is the lockdown, but it should be possible if you have a pot running during it.

Unfortunately not. It's still REALLY early in development so they are focused mostly on core mechanics for now. I do know they have like 10 years worth of stuff to put in, but no specific order. I 'think' their next main priorities are Floor 1, new class(es) {Bard for sure is the next one}, adding more weapons/armors, fixing parry etc....

Is Stealth skill bugged? I keep coming out of hide when I try to move or almost immediately after stealthing.
Moving while Hide is active will break the ability, unless you also have Stealth. But Stealth will only function for walking or crouching

Strongly disagree. It benefits from both phys and magic power and magic resists are super low. Easily can hit for 80-90 per hit without anything major. Throw haste + invis and you don't even need MM or Fireball

Nothinh concrete I don't think, killing NPCs in bulk, getting to and escaping B3 seem to do a chunk.
XP is earned by doing pretty much anything. Killing players, killing AI, opening chests/corpses/portals, escaping, taking a down portal. The largest chunk of xp is going down to the bottom floor followed by escaping.
Rage also cuts your defense by 20% flat, not 20% of what you have.

Its not a bug though, its an animation/ hitbox issue being deceiving to the player and makes axes not worth using over anything else. Nobody else has an issue with axe range being deceivingly short compared to the swing animation?

can your MM channel be interrupted by someone hugging you if you use a spellbook instead of a staff? like sometimes if I start the cast late a rogue will reach me and it seems to cancel my cast not because of taking damage or anything but because they got so close the staff does a "hit" sound and cancels

Don't have enough data on bossing. Not a focus of our group yet. That being said, I do believe they are both mainly Magic damage. I believe the 'intended' mechanic is that the lava monsters are supposed to either be invulnerable the entire time, or there is a mechanic to disable it.

Nope. That being said, the player camera is NOT the same as the shield's. The physical weapon has to connect with the physical shield. It just takes getting used to.

Not those, the wall spikes that come out from the wall, there is a certain corridor with 4 in total and they are on each side tried to hug the walls zigzagging but kept taking hits no matter what

We tried it, went in started the fight put 30+ arrows in both of them and they did not die. Ghost King seems to have more HP as well, had it on farm.. now it seems like it has more HP

Physical power is a multiplier. Go to the Character sheet and you'll see how everything is laid out. Physical power is a % increases, everything else is flat. Hence the % on it

@peak bluff Lava is easy enough to dodge, and the jump mechanic is telegraphed so not taking damage from that is easy with experienced players. And with the amount of damage we pumped into the boss and the golems we should have killed him 3x over.. (we had him on farm with 17 kills). But after the patch the boss seems to have more health, obv can't cheese golems from door. But in the fight we could not kill the golems was 4-6 arrows killing them out side the room with cheese. Last attempt we had put 30 arrows into one, did not die.. so we went to the boss and after a 3min fight (normally 30-60 sec) we had to run out of the room.. boss seems to have way more HP as well?

I've not tested it myself, but I know higher rarity campfires deploy quicker, so it'd be safe to assume higher rarity surgicals are quicker to use.

You need the golden key, which drops from the skeletal champion that is behind the doors at the bottom of the tower at about a 10% drop rate. Inside the room is a treasure pile that you can repeatedly loot for gold/items, though it takes a while each time to loot.

There is no wiki at this time, The game's development started literally a year ago as of today. There is too much stuff that will be consistently changing between playtests to make it worthwhile for data to be placed on a wiki officially. However, a few of the sages here are working on compiling as much info as they can for such a source of info.

XP sources include PvE and PvP kills, Opening chests, Descending, and successfully escaping. So the fastest way to level would simply be play the game effectively rather then try to zero in on a singular source.

Hey guys, level 16 cleric here. Looking to ask experienced clerics what their spell priority is in groups? I.e. Protection>Healing or vice versa.
They do not at this time, but it's something that certainly has been mentioned/suggested already. A easy way to gain XP as Cleric is to go to the ziggurat room with the 10+ flying skulls and use your AoE to kill them all.
Can you cast spells while wielding the Crystal Sword?
When I'm engaging, my cleric is uses bless and then protection, but mid fight it's basically just what makes sense at the time. Lots of Hp down? Redemption, Only a little HP lost and Protection is already popped? Protection. Otherwise I think he just is keeping a light heal waiting for the second it pops to heal and then swap to reapplying Protection.

As long as you're not right next to them you can side strafe and they'll miss. You can also time it so you duck right as the arrow flys at you since they always aim for the head. Wraiths the best place to be moving backwards and to the right, if they wind up for the dash you just start going full right instead of back.

You might not of seen them, but that is how it functions. Unless you're referring the circle that is basically nothing after all portals have spawned.
Stay within the circle area, and listen for the scrapping stone sound. Otherwise they're pretty visually apparent with just a glance down hallways and into rooms.

You can have a player get rid of the stacking slowing debuff by having them walk out of the room until it expires in about 5 seconds. If you rotate the people leaving you should be able to retain your mobility enough to dodge the lava golem attacks.
Quick question, can you jump over traps? Did anyone try?
Basically. You'll want to be rotating as a loose group (Loose so you don't get AoE'd when it teleports to a player and does damage in a radius), and have a player swing out for a breather if their stacks get 15+.
You have to have enough move speed, but if you do you can bait the trap either by putting a toe in or tossing a torch on it, and then as the spikes are receding you can jump and crouch midair to not take damage.

If you have an excessive amount of move speed, like from some combo of sprint/rage/haste/speed shrine/bless, you can manage it without having to time it as it recedes.

Blue Aura = The ally will take damage, but other allies will take the same damage if they're in the area.
Purple Aura = A large amount of damage will be dealt to the player (likely lethal), but it is split evenly between allies, so stack up.

I don't know the logic behind what aura he chooses, but I don't believe it's fully random.
A dev did mention in general today that purple aura means you need stop damaging the lich, so I suspect he might do that one if you're doing a high enough threshold of damage to him in a specific timeframe.

I don't suggest focusing ads compared to just rotating in a circle around, but I don't know if the shield has anything special to it.
At most maybe kill the archers, but honestly it's just best to keep mobile and avoiding damage while taking safe windows to deal damage to him.

Silver coins can stack to 20, so they're a theoretical 6.6g per inventory space efficiency, which is better then most 1 slot whites and multi-slot blues. However, they do take up seconds of your life as you "buy" each gold coin, so I don't bother with them.

More of an opinion piece to be honest, might get better reactions from the discussion sections, but I think the Rapier is MUCH easier to donk people in the nose and can use in tight hallways

The -40 move speed on the default 2H axe hurts a lot though. Makes it really hard to follow up on targets. Playing solo is nice because they never use space they just sit on top of you and try and hit trade. Too bad I three shot even feared fighters

The differences between the various magical casting items and weapons are this: They differ in movement speed penalties, utility, and casting animations (Not speed). Each have specific uses. For instance, the crystal sword is great if you want to be a battle mage and cast spells while also bonking people on the head. The staff is terrible for halls because it has wide casting animations, but also lets you bonk slightly stronger than sword. And some don't let you bonk but only cast spells.
To note, Will is synergistic with the +magic damage as well, since you get the 25+Magic damage which is then multiplied by your spell power.

That being multiplied by your high Magic power modifier, as well as because most people are usually running with 20% or more physical damage reduction from armor, but basically no (or negative) magic resist. So the magic side of it hits a lot harder.

As resourcefullness increases only action speed is there any point in taking it over agility?
It's double the gains compared to 1 agi, but in general unless you are making a truly rat character, AGI wins hands down
It should have another effect like CD reduction or something
The stats aren't fully functioning
Eventually there will be backpack space etc.. and that is another effect of that stat
Action speed is attack speed/swapping items around, using potions/bandages/campfires etc...
Interaction is opening chests, doors, turning on/off torches etc
Item interaction speed specifically applies to doors/chests/bandages, while action speed applies to almost everything.

Easy way to tell the difference, are you interacting with something in the dungeon, thats interaction. Anything on/from you, thats action

XP is earned by doing pretty much anything. Killing players, killing AI, opening chests/corpses/portals, escaping, taking a down portal. The largest chunk of xp is going down to the bottom floor followed by escaping.

trying to escape hell solo is a pain in the butt
The fastest is most likely going to the bottom floor, killing elite mobs there and then escaping successfully

ahhh heal on hit would be kinda strong
Mechanics > Gear due to one shot mechanics. However, you need at least blue/purples
But communication and mechanic knowledge is more important

Although, some railings are too tall
But most are doable
