I think, even if an Ug has better stats than me elsewhere, once a horse, let's say a front runner, has 1200 speed and stamina, the only thing really determining the winner is luck and skills So at the top of Class 6 it might be a truly fair battle

yeah initial stats is not something ive paid much attention to, but, well, maybe i should consider it more

well, okay, i pay attention to them on parents (though rn stats go wayside in favor of aptitude), but with decks i could be doing more

its like, tertiary factor after race bonus and skills

I was using a 7* to get A in both Turf and Sprint, now it's two 9* like it should be for an A in turf and a B in sprint, and it's going so smoothly

I guess it makes sense that a stamina debuff on Sprint is meaningless

Anyway, yeah. Initial stats have a decent weight, I still think Fuku's is overkill most of the time but if you have a low star/potential horse you want to run then absolutely
