Just an fyi: you have 30 days and 30 parts. If you're getting more than one part a day, you're ahead of the timer and you have breathing room to figure out the rest or rebuild forces
It's a more generous timer than you think

I've only played Pikmin 3 Deluxe so I'm sooo stoked to play 3 new Pikmin games (Once I get money lol)
On Super Spicy Mode, my record was 22 days until just recently where I was able to get 11 fruits at once in the Distant Tundra saving me almost 3 days for a new 19 day total

The demo is soooo good. I'm not a Pikmin fanatic, so I don't mind some of the features long time fans dislike, but I can't stand the auto-lock. That's my only gripe. The game is gorgeous, funny, pretty expansive for a demo, and the story looks pretty wild.

it does seem that the wii version is probably the best version of the game to play tho, even with the switch ports
motion controlled exact placement of throwing pikmin is great

you're able to throw pikmin farther in that making yellows somewhat pointless for anything other than bomb rocks

Just finished Pikmin 2 100%....that was the most bull game i have ever played! I lost more than 200 pikmin to the final boss in one day, killing it twice!! I also couldn't keep my reds blues and yellows above 100 until the 4th area...
This entire game was harder than both 1 and 3 combined!

But you don't have a time limit so you can just spend a couple days getting more pikmin and try again
The hardest bit is the case with the watery enemy thing
That cave is pure psychological touture
But then you just... don't do that cave

The Water Wraith was CAKE compared to the final dungeon. I only lost 23 pikmin to it. I hated not having good depth perception when it came to throwing pikmin and the 10 dozen things that go wrong in caves...

Which dungeon is the "final" dungeon again? It's been years since I 99.99% this game (getting 100 purple pikmin being the hardest challenge in the game)

100 purples is easy. Subterranean Complex is there for a reason
Also i rarely used purples in the first place since they never seemed to work properly and were too valuable

I can't belive I've 100% completed the first two areas but still don't have the 10000 money to pay off the debt lol
Absolutely no treasures in perplexing pool though so plenty of time to get the remaining 33 money
Lost 83 pikmin today, damn
But then I fought the gun spider and birthing queen bulbax
Those two are a pain
And the Queen seemed to bug out and shake off all my pikmin to the centre of the arena, making it virtually impossible to save them all

I loathe the demon spawn from the queen. If you can get in front of her before the babies, then you can make her roll to kill them obviously. Then, you just gotta do enough damage fast enough to make her roll again so the babies never reach you, while you're also hiding next to the geyser from the falling rocks

You call the pikmin... motherships? Onions, because they look like hocatate onions
But you also find an actual, real, earth onion so to avoid confusion it's called "onion replica"

Thanks for the tip about subterranean complex, I never considered it before now but it's exactly perfect for grinding purple pikmin, and whites with a bit more of a hassle
That's the second time I've ever gotten the doomsday apparatus lol

I missed one the first playthrough too. I started fresh after my first 80ish% run, this time also completing ||Trials of the Sage Leaf to get the Purple and White onions|. I also nitpick that 2 missions can never be completed fully. the bloom pikmin and grow pikmin ones reset evertime you complete it but I'd like a blank mission board as a sense of accomplishment lol
100%'d the game twice, except for challenges, battles, and ||Sage Leaf|| the first time
I just wish someone would bring a guide out soon...maybe a 100% guide would have it.....

After a 64 day save file, I have officially 100% Pikmin 4! All missions (yes i found that last structure), all side missions, ||all 10 trials of the sage leaf platinumed||, all dandori challenges and battles platinumed, every available item/powerup, Olimar's Shipwreck Tale completed, and over 200 of every pikmin type. Feels extremely good!!
