If I recall correctly to get the membership card you just have to 1- Rescue all the carpenters and 2- beat the gerudo guards that fight you.

so, one of the big intended/designed limitations of AP is that once a multiworld has been generated, none of the logic about what items you need to reach what locations is preserved in that multiworld, and thus the server hosting it has no idea what's reach_able_, only what's been reached

#

the Universal Tracker reconstructs this logic to produce a list of currently reach_able_ locations by effectively re-generating your world on the fly, which works if a) you have the .apworld and .yaml that were used to make your world (the other worlds in the multiworld are not required), and b) the world has no logic-relevant generation-time randomness like random spawn, entrance rando, etc (this is why I can't use the UT for AHiT)

my Outer Wilds AP mod does not yet have a dedicated tracker, and because the base game is not randomizer-shaped it's not obvious which places would be AP locations, so the setup instructions strongly recommend everyone use the Universal Tracker for now

the AP rando allows you to include a range of randomly selected Death Wish levels, and if you're a true masochist even make the bonus objectives into additional checks; I personally set it to 5-10 DWs and no bonuses

also the final death wish is always "Seal the Deal", which is a boss rush of all the DW-enhanced bosses

it was always a bit borderline but what pushed it over the edge for me is that, apparently you can't get P&T in StD unless you use P&T on one of the other DW bosses, which in rando seeds like this one means P&T simply isn't available; Assist Mode sort of substitutes for it, but in a different enough way that it leads to the first 3 bosses being somewhat easier and the final 4th boss being significantly harder than real P&T

man i forgot how much i hate the ganon fight
you have less than a second to line up your light arrow shot, but thanks to this fucking oversensitive aim you overshoot and miss. you slow it down, then you dont get it lined up in time AND your char slows his walking speed so you cant jump the gap
and the gap is imprecise to jump over, i miss 70% of the time when im pretty sure i really shouldnt
oh and when he does that multi shot thing you need to spin attack for, for some reason my char is aiming slightly to the left so my aim is even farther off when using the light arrows
goddamn
i am fully aware most of this is a skill issue but that doesnt make me feel better
