People were awful to pikamee and anyone who dared publicly play or buy Hogwarts Legacy, like downright evil disgusting stuff was being thrown at people and vtubers like Pikamee

Also missing that outside the US and UK, Japan is the biggest market for HP, but there is a HUGE difference in culture when it comes to the stuff people are up in arms about. So not only are Japanese vtubers being attacked and harassed, they are being laid into for issues they have an unbelievably little amount of context on because it's not in their sphere, which can make it seem worse because it's vitriol for no reason that can be easily explained in a way that would make any of them put down the game and say "Oh, I get it."

On that note though I have generalized a bit by saying "Japanese vtubers are being attacked and harassed," but I haven't really noticed that in the Holosphere, or I'm not on Twitter enough to encounter it.
Holo EN has not spoken of or played it at all, ID only has a couple members playing, and several JP members have played/are playing

But before I engage much further I will have to chastise myself and remind everyone that for the very volatile reasons we have been dancing around we shouldn't be discussing the game or much around it to avoid arguments or excessive controversy.

So when he spoke English it was with the thickest southern twang imaginable. Was quite jarring hearing him switch from Swedish to super southern English.

Not that many really, saying ''Estás aquí!'' (You're here!) is pretty universal across all dialects but the manner of speaking, the accent, the intonation, and conjugation is different

The original had a very Castilian way of speaking sometimes but with an entirely different accent so it was very jarring

The way to refer to someone on second person, it's a thing where I live and part of my dialect too but it's different from Spain's
