It's hard to overstate my satisfaction
If I was playing through a Portal mod like Portal Reloaded (my fave!) or the first or second Portal game, ngl, Idk how I would react if I saw DASH-E turrets in it (the clone robots of Rainbow Dash from My Little Portal)
I'd be so sad because I would have to kill them to progress

Welp I finished replaying Portal 2 after sooooo long
But this time, I spared Turrets as much as I could. The only ones I couldn't spare all of them or none at all was the one in the laser puzzle level with the reflection cube, the ||Wheatley|| level with the blue gel and excursion funnel, and 1-2 more. I was able to spare the turrets in the escape part of the final chapter. The ones you need to use the funnel to make blue gel fall over them in the white area you cant access. The trick is to put a portal on the right wall, go in their line of fire and then go back to the other portal nearby. Wait like 4 seconds before going in, then fall down onto the metal beam and jump over to the panel connected to the white room and go behind the backmost one, and then you can start moving them towards the wall. It worked for me lol
Whenever I see turrets, I always pretend that they are the DASH-E robots from My Little Portal, like look at this image for example from Derpibooru
It's always something I like to do now on XD
And because of that, I always swear to not destroy any if possible, and when I do, the big sad kicks in

During the lockdown last year, I played Portal 2 co-op missions (online) with a friend for the first time. It was really a lot of fun and required a bit of different way to think than just the solo mode.
