which is very much helped by the levling process unlocking things bti by bit

what are you finding complex about it? if it hasn't massively changed since i played it, its essentially "collect stickers or whatever they're called from going down the 3 different 1-2-3's use big button, while keeping dot up

i recommend fiddling with your skills on hotbars in a way that makes them easy to flow from one to another in your mind (group 1-2-3s, group AOEs, put heal/defense skills near each other, that kinda stuff), that a key to rememberin what to start pressin in a situation, then you just follow the yellow combo outlines

it may sound like a trivial advice, but sometimes u really gotta check if your hotbars aint a mess bc it affects how it feels to play a lot

it took me an hour to reorganize ninja recently

But all the changes over the years make me unsure the proper ninjutsu order

@abstract ibex now, i dont know your hotbar setup, and if you are on controller itll be way different, but here´s what i mean by logical grouping. sam´s whole point is the flower combos where the first button is always the same, so you should try to group the nine skills that make those flowers in a way that flows well (i dont know what level you are, so they might look different). for me, who primarily uses numpad and alt+ / ctrl+, i have my 1-2-3, 1-alt2-alt3, and 1-alt1 as single targets, and 4-5 and 4-alt5 as aoes, so the glowin combo flows naturally. the big important buttons go on 0 and alt-0 because they are close to them. i follow this groupin logic elsewhere too, like havin hisssatsu´s together, or havin my "aw shit aw fuck" buttons on 7-9 areas. i am not sayin you have to use this system or that its perfect, but its definitely beneficial to go thru skill tooltips, stand before a dummy and try to create some sort of logical pathway to put your buttons around so your brain can stuff them into nice lil drawers. especially if you wanna multi-job a lot, its very helpful to try and find links between jobs and try to keep them mostly consistent like say, all my melees have their main combos on 123s and aoes on 456s, most movement is on Es, or limit break is always alt-9. it can definitely take a few tries to find what fits you

3. i want to help people in a random queue (getting an extreme will crush your soul because people will not listen and you will be stuck there for an hour)
