And the first step, you do dread fangs if you need to add time on the debuff on the enemy that makes you do more damage, or steel fang if you don't (since that one has more potency)
Max time on that debuff is 40 seconds
Dreadweaver also adds that debuff so you don't need to think about it in the opener

And making ||Zenos you ally in that fight works really well too, because as you might have completely opposite moral codes, both of you have very strong motivations that propels you forward, and are as such, an ally against nihilism||

As far as the technical aspect goes, ||this is the best the game has ever been...the zone music is honestly some of the best I've heard, the updated graphics show, and the artistic direction is on fucking point, no notes on that.||
The story ||has been slow and you feel like the stakes are lower, I understand why, the game doesn't have 10 years worth of setup that made Shadowbringers and EW possible, but it's still noticeable.||
I write this after ||a major character beat and right after entering in one of the most beautiful zones that are in this game, so it's definitely an high point, but I would have liked some of the earlier stuff to be a bit tighter maybe, unless they tie that stuff in the 2nd half which is possible||

pat pat its not too bad! instead on focusin on leaden fist n demolish dot, you focus on spendin the fury gauge orbs accordingly. you do what used to be the buff-givin 1-2-3 (dragon kick-twin snakes-demolish) to get orbs, and then u spend them on the other more potent 1-2-3 (the ones that gain pretty new animations at 92). the amount of orbs you get means your rotation will swap dragon kick and bootshine/leaping opo every time, two true strikes/rising raptors for every twin snakes and three snap punches/pouncing coeurls for every demolish. gonna borrow this image from https://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comments/1ctitat/how_the_new_monk_changes_work_as_a_monk_main_im/ it sounds more complicated than it is because the ideal rotation glows now so you just follow the shiny, and hey would u look at that, its the same base rotation as it was optimised endwalker! and the nadi system is the same as before, you still prefer usin dragon kick-leaping opo for lunar nadi for the crit

Ivalice is great gameplay wise but I can't get past how utterly unlikeable Ramza is and how convoluted the story is.
Nier is also confusing but at least it doesn't have unlikeable characters, and not as many characters, plus the sheer spectacle.
Also the problem with Ivalice is that it was trying to tell two stories at once, both badly
