currently im tryin to learn to always keep the base single target rotation goin correctly, bc rn when im panickin or overly focusin on mechanics i default to dragon kick - twin snakes - demolish, which is losin me them bigger numbers. then when i have that down i hope to drill positionals bc those i oftentimes forget too, then remember n try to do for a bit, then i forget again when somethin else is happenin. eureka has actually been helpful in this regard! since grindin lets me focus on doin the rotation right, even if i cant train positionals there
but u know then the opposite happens sometimes when im focusin on rotation n its goin so nicely n wait why is everyone else away from the boss and oh no-

Yeah that's the game in a nutshell, savage and extreme are harder because the mechanics are more complex and the DPS requirement to beat the encounter is higher, so everyone has to meet a minimum level of being able to execute their rotation while doing the mechanics.
If it was only the mechanics, it'd be easy
If it was only the rotation, it'd take some time but people would execute it almost perfectly
It's doing one while also not letting the other slip that's tricky
