When you target an enemy you see where the weakness are
For now you have only a pip so you have to chose if you want to put it in defense or attack, when you get more you can do a bit or both, or specialise in one

If you click on your magia board you can rotate it
That can help
You don't need to go back to base everytime you want to change element, if that was the problem you were incurring in

So unless you switch type of enemies over and over it's not a problem
Also if you start rotating it doesn't count as one use until you let it set to the element you want
It's highly advised the first few times to try to complete your eureka related entries in your challenge log too
For the entries that ask you to kill ashkin or sprites
Ashkin are enemies that only spawn at night
Spirtes are elementals, they only spawn when certain weather condition are met (for example, it's possible that you need blazing sun to see fire sprites, or it to be raining to see water sprites, like in Bozja)

The max elemental level for the 1st map is 20
Also, depending how many other players that know what they are doing are playing in the same map, some fates may spawn

Fates give you decent exp, ideally tho, I would only do those around your level or lower
Since you don't get all the rewards unless you are at best 1 level lower than the fate
There are 4 Eureka maps, for a total of 60 elemental levels
The 2nd map sucks really hard, the others are okay

You can ask in chat for a ress, most people do it and if people are around they will come and get you up
You can easly check how many people are playing by hitting "o"

Usually even in the lower population maps (like the 1st) you find at least two dozens players

I can also help, I can't be in a party with you because you wouldn't get much exp from actually killing monsters, but I can help you spawn fates and for those we can party up

They have 2 main uses
one is to upgrade the gear so you can make it dyable
The 2nd is to upgrade your replic weapon
You get two types of crystals, the biggest source is fates so usually, you join a fate party and do that forever, but it's best and faster when you are a bit higher level

Also you can exchange one type of crystal for the other at a very favurable rate
It's not a huge grind
The occasional crystal that you see dropping is not how representative as to how you farm them

You get Beast Gauge at 35, your second AOE at 40, an AoE Inner Beast at 45, Infururate is basically "tap for free gauge", Fell Cleve is just better Inner Beast, Raw Intuition is the best fucking mitigation in the game, Equalibrium is a nice heak tool, Decimate is upgraded Steel Cyclone, Onslaught is a catchup tool WAR needed LAST EXPANSION, Upheveal is a OGCD, Shake it Off is yet another mit button...

ugh, that was a disaster. i wanted to do one drk level roulette before lunch. not only did i get brayflox's longstop, which i frankly think is one of my least favorite dungeons, especially for tanking bc i have no idea how to navigate such open space. so when i died in the beginning of the dungeon i thought it was on me, but no. no, its wasnt enough to get a hard for navigation dungeon. bc there was this frankly assholish ninja who was cleary there just for tomestones, and he! kept! pulling! instead of me! buddy i dont have that many mitigation options yet! nor does the healer have access to strong heals yet! stop making me tank four mob groups instead of two! you're in low-30s leveling roulette there's gonna be ppl who are still learning!

It is not a simple corridor like some of the latter dungeons, but I'd say that once you are past the first gate, it's only one path to the final boss with some optional branches that nobody does. Looking at the map will help.
