That's what they are.

Also also, if ghasts can be dehydrated, does this mean that the ghasts floating in the nether are in constant pain? And that they have a limited life span and will eventually dry out themselves?

Furthermore, ghasts who manage to grow up in the nether are forever hostile and depressed. Somehow, at some point, something went wrong in their history. They are supposed to have water to grow up.

Maybe they can't have any babies anymore because they're all dehydrated and thus can't grow up? And maybe that's why they're sad?

Working on some ideas for my SMP Woodland Mansion in a test world, and this is an idea that I've had rattling around for a while.

As-generated, the Mansion is massively tall for each floor, to the point one could make three normal height (3.5 blocks) and one tall (6 blocks) floors out of the first two stories.
It'd require a rework of the windows, staircases and some doorways, but what do you guys think on this sort of mod?

The Update Aquatic brought a LOT of people back. That was when the Second Golden Age of Minecraft started, imo. It ushered in a new era of expansive content updates that continued to push the limits of the game and overcharged the creativeness of the players. This made the players EXPLODE. It changed everything. Like, it feels so simple now, but back then, it was unthinkable that anything could be better than diamond, and the concept of upgrading your gear with smithing templates alone made modders ascend.

Okay, good, it appears that you can actually use leads on happy ghasts. I was concerned that you couldn't at first, since I hadn't seen a single youtuber try it, but the wiki says that you can.

This means that we effectively have dockable dirigibles in Minecraft. Just leash them up to a fence post and they'll stay docked.

This means sky ship docks are back on the menu, boys!

The Fabric launcher is fantastic if you want performance mods and lighter modpacks. Forge is more heavy-duty and has bigger mods and more content, but is often buggier and more likely to not update as much.

Forge also has its own performance mods, but not nearly as much as Fabric, iirc, and not nearly as comprehensive.

There's also Neoforge and Quilt, but Quilt is basically a more niche fork of Fabric and Neoforge is a fork of Forge. No idea what either of those are like.

yeah I'm subscribed to one of those Hypixel sweat youtubers just because they will make a new video for every detail about capes. I just waited a few days for them to have a speedrun guide on the event, and they also shared a resource pack exploit that let you get the cape a few days early

the cape doesn't really fit with any of my current or potential skins tho 😭 all the minecraft movie capes have been kinda meh imo

Migrator cape is still the most versatile, they did well

I am pissed about the migrator cape. I migrated, and then was locked out of my account. I tried everything, even contacting customer support, but nothing worked. In the end, I had to buy the game again and get an entirely new account, meaning no cape for me.

It wasn't because I was hacked or anything either. One day Microsoft just decided that I logged into the launcher one time too many and then locked me out.

It would have been nice if Mojang mentioned they were giving away a cape for voting in 2023. Minecraft Live is at 5am my time but I woke up or stayed up to be there live for it from 2017-2022, and voted in all the votes. In 2023 I decided I'd skip the mob vote since as a community people were generally not happy with it. My loss, lol
