they were able to move almost any block, I think even bedrock at some point?

enderman griefing was very common back in the day, and you couldn't do anything to prevent it, other than using 2-block high ceilings

but they've never been able to spawn in holding a block

also yes that must've been so horrible, I'm dealing with enderman problems right now on a superflat world. My underground base is entirely dirt blocks lit by flowing lava. So endermen teleport out of the rain/sun down into one of the rooms and go wild because they can't despawn while they have a block

Winter Drop changes on Bedrock

A little tl;dr

• New Resin for blocks and armor trims, also used to craft Creaking Hearts
• Eyeblossom flowers for pale gardens. Open during night, closed during day. Poisons bees, blindness or nausea when made into a stew. Glowing Eye when night!!!. Gray or orange dye
• Creaking is now faster and deals more damage. Also a soft lock fix

Oh, another thing I like about the new changes to the Pale Garden, I like that they updated the Creaking's attack damage, attack animation, and walking animation. The animations were janky as shit before, and way below the quality we've come to expect from Mojang. I haven't seen the new ones yet, but I'm hoping it's a huge improvement.

They wouldn't just randomly add an all-new redstone component that moves blocks in the air and allows for smooth, seamless flying machines without having something planned (End update, for making traversing the End easier?), especially since that redstone device doesn't really match the theme of the April Fools update (neither did the resin).

Finally, another mob besides the bee that actually looks like a Minecraft mob.

And for once the eyes kinda work. They're still horrifying, but in the game chickens stare at you all dead-eyed like that too, so it works.

Still looks like plastic though.

Like, every set piece we've seen so far, both from the trailer and from the behind-the-scenes footage, looks so cheaply-made and plastic-y and like cardboard. It doesn't feel real.

Even from this picture, it looks like some average props they've used on Minecon.

And not, you know, proper movie props.

It's...slightly better than the first trailer. I did like the "I yearned for the mines" joke, though I wonder if Mojang actually knows how mines real mines work with the uniforms and protective equipment, lol.

The iron golems look great, I'll give them that, as do the wolves (actually adorable). And they also tweaked the visuals a bit (I noticed that the Piglins had sharper details and were a tiny bit darker, and the trees looked a bit more bushy).

The characters are still uninteresting, and most of the mobs still look like trash (except the wolves, bees, chickens, and iron golems so far). We also got a brief glimpse at the villagers, and let me tell you, they look waaaaaaay too disturbing.

Overall, still not impressed, but at least they've tweaked a few things.

Nah, zombies look like a mix between cubic and real and it looks wrong. And while the skeleton body looks fine, the head also looks wrong. But whatever, it's not gonna be changed so there's no point in me saying once again that, ahem, this should've been animated and not live action.

Oh, another thing I did find a little funny: the "Minecraft trailer, take 2" bit at the beginning. That felt like a very small dig at themselves, like "yeah, we know, we messed up with that first one, let's try again".

I highly recommend them, PK. You can learn a lot about the game from them. Scar is one of my personal heroes, and TangoTek, another member, created an entire deck builder dungeon crawler game within Minecraft survival.

It got so big it was even made an official game IRL too, though still relatively niche.

Apparently one of the things that is known is that no minors were involved, so that's good. It's something else, we just don't know yet. Stressmonster likely wasn't involved in whatever happened, but she was already one foot out because of losing interest, and likely decided that since Iskall was her best friend on the server, she might as well go too, either out of solidarity or simply not having anyone else she could consider a good "replacement", since they've become a package deal over the years.

Whatever it is, it seems serious, as a member of the Vault Hunters SMP resigned in protest too, as have several Vault Hunters devs.

This is a damn shame, but also in a way a testament to how professional and mature the group is. They got this settled fast with no nonsense, and took the private complaints seriously and did their due diligence to investigate. This is the first time in well over a decade that the group's had any serious drama behind the scenes.

Also, I do have to say that Iskall did the right thing by resigning straight away. He could've dug down and defended himself, he could've died on any hill of his choice, but he instead knew that whatever he did was bad, and so chose to protect the Hermitcraft group from any further bad behavior by resigning quickly so as to distance them from him.

Regardless of what he may have done, that's the mark of a professional who knows when to fold and how to take responsibility for their actions.

Having read both statements carefully, I'll say this much: I'm very glad that no minors are involved, at least that anybody knows of. That would make this already very difficult situation literally impossible for Iskall to navigate safely through.

I...can't say for sure what to think about all this. He f*cked up, big time. He's betrayed the trust of an entire community, his friends, the other Hermits, and his former partner. He's guilty, no doubt about it. The proof is right there for all to see, and it's damning. At the same time though, I don't think it's entirely fair to label him as irredeemable scum or anything like that either. There's a slim possibility that he can bounce back from this as long as he acknowledges that he f*cked up and does what he can to make reparations to the victims and to the community and his friends whose trust he's betrayed. The fact that he made no complaints and simply resigned quietly and without delay tells me that he knows he did a horrible thing, and that he understands what he needs to do in order to be a better person. My gut wants to tell me that this may be difficult to fully escape from for the rest of his life, but that it is possible if he does everything right to prove that he's changed and that he's learned from this mistake. Even good people can f*ck up and make awful decisions, and he made a very unwise, bad decision.

As for the victims, this is a very shitty thing that they're going through right now, and my heart goes out to them, their families, and any other people who Iskall's actions have hurt. I hope that they can all move on with their lives without fear, and that they can heal from this.

Another thing I'm glad for is that Stress isn't involved in this, though I am heartbroken that she's going through it too. False confirmed that she left on her own accord, and in a way, Stress is a victim too. She probably didn't know...

Being how close she was to Iskall, I think she may have just decided to call it quits and leave it all behind. Iskall, Hermitcraft, everything. Something I noticed about the Pale Garden drop is that most of the devs that designed it in their behind-the-scenes video were lesser-known devs who usually stick to the backend of things. All the big ones like Jeb, Cory, kingbdogz, and LadyAgnes were conspicuously absent. They're likely the ones working on the next major update while the "B-team" works on the smaller content drops.

We'll likely see the next Minecraft Live sometime in March, if I had to guess.

People have had gun mods and texture packs with guns with no issue until Mojang started complaining and trying to shut down some servers with guns. (No Hypixel?)

(Extra context: He had been working on a gun server for the past year and it costed a fair amount of money just for them to say "No more guns")

They did backpedal a little, but I think their intent is still there. But apparently, the clause about no guns wasn't even in any EULA or Commercial Guidelines and then they somewhat recently updated those terms without really telling anyone aside from one article.

He also complains about how the EULA clearly states no gambling, yet there are a troves upon troves of servers that uses crates and create keys which allow for child gambling.

We have Songs of War spin-offs confirmed! Fully-voiced, 10-20 minutes long, and they are in the animation pipeline as I type this.

Season 2 and 3 are no longer cancelled, but they need funds to get both seasons made and to hire voice actors (some of whom will likely be returning from the original series). Somewhere between $400,000 to $500,000, but that's a placeholder estimate and may likely be smaller.

I wouldn't mind crop rotation and a somewhat more complex overhaul to crop farming in general. It's a rarely touched portion of the game that could use some love. But yeah, it won't get too complex, because it still has to be understandable to kids at the end of the day.

Actually, not quite true. The closest we got was a developer conference a few years ago where Mojang showed off that they could indeed pull off seasons and even extreme weather like tornadoes in the game without going against their design philosophies. Some Youtubers were even able to get exclusive access to this information but had to sign an NDA for a lot of it, and only tell their audiences about very specific things.
