Crafters are directional and can be chained together. Here, the observer clock strongly powers the first Crafter, and since it's adjacent to the second Crafter, that one is pulsed as well
And of course, if I were to put a chest in front of the second Crafter, the sticks would go directly into the chest

Easy for simple recipes, more complex for complex recipes. It's mostly a matter of making sure that items go into the Crafter in a specific order
With the Crafter, items go into it in a specific, predictable order every time, so it's still possible to automate everything if you have the redstone experience

Reminder: this is the first ever snapshot with them interacting with other redstone blocks in a more complex way (most Mojang employees can't do redstone very well besides people like gnembon and maybe Cory or Searge).
There's bound to be a lot of bugs, limitations, and problems that will be ironed out and given feedback on as the development cycle continues. Crafters are not gonna remain the way they are currently for long.

@fervent crescent Ignore the poison, it won't kill you. If the witch is blocked off and the only way it can attack you is from poison, you are 100% safe from death, so let her keep tossing until she throws a weakness potion. Once she does, then you can regen.

Not for Natster, and certainly not for me. In fact, with a lot of the animal mobs Mojang has been adding recently, they tend to have drops that can only be gotten if you keep the animals alive and nurture them instead of killing them.

Apparently, according to some math some people did, it takes 20 punches to kill a normal wolf, and 35 to kill an armored one, so there is an improvement, it's just not that much.

if you set the damage component of a weapon or armor to 2^31 - 1 damage and then hit with/it. the weapon/armor will look like it is undamaged, but you get an error message when you try to get the data of the item. exitting the world makes the game crash with the error that says that the damage value can't be a negative value

Only way to survive is to wear full netherite armor with 2 pieces with projectile protection 4, 2 pieces of protection 4 and a golden apple. Additionally, if you add a 2nd claymore with a 10 tick (0.5s) delay, you can kill any user with a totem of undying.
Flaws is that it usually works on very flat ground since it is the arrow which is targeting the user. Requires tnt dupe glitch and a chuck loader.
Also it doesn't use the new wind charges due to it being too new and susceptible to changes in a new snapshot.

Perhaps not, but this will make for some wonderfully chaotic multiplayer fights, as well as some excellent minigames.
The mace is meant to be used in conjunction with the wind charges after all, and boosting yourself up on just one wind charge is enough to one-shot a creeper with the mace.
So imagine the sheer chaos this thing is gonna cause in PvP.

Ngl, I might actually switch to mace-only when I get it. I can keep the sword for looting purposes, but the mace effectively replaces it.
It requires more vertical space to use, but scaffolding makes this easy.
And if you can land a successful smash attack, the Wind Burst enchantment will boost you up again, so you will never have to touch the ground and just keep smashing things.
Above all, the mace just seems so much more FUN. The sword is just swing-swing-swing, the mace requires skill, timing, combo-chaining, jumping, mobility, etc.
Plus it looks way cooler.

In terms of vanilla balance, I could see the Floatater being a little tricky to do for real. It looks a bit overpowered as is, and kind of undermines the utility of pistons and flying machines. But it's still super cool, and I'd hate to see the idea vanish completely

The push to add new features and things no one really wanted or needed and that were unpolished, then forcing people to update servers and mods constantly to try to keep up. Then people with older and weaker laptops too are left behind increasingly fast.

Not really, no. For one thing, nothing changed between the release candidate and the full release of 1.20.6, so they could've easily updated just fine. Secondly, 1.20.6 changes nothing from 1.20.5 except it fixes one bug, and therefore, the code that the modders use will be compatible with it. Modders only really have to update to 1.20.5 to be caught up.

Personally, I would take out the stubbier/shorter dock on the right-most side (from this angle), and move the other two a couple more blocks down. This would give you a little more space to build some boats on either side of the two docks. Right now you're only able to fit one small boat in the middle between the two longer docks.
Adding to this, I would also terraform that block hill right next to the docks and push it back into the cliff a bit, and smooth out the sandy bits below it to make a better shoreline.

The upper green line is for where the hill might be better to start at, and the bottom green line is where the shore should be.
To make the terraforming mesh better, the short dirt cliff under the bridge to the right could be given a slightly more gentle downward curve, so that it builds up gradually to the rest of the cliff.

Not a headcanon, it's outright confirmed by Mojang that sculk is a substance that spreads from the souls of dying mobs and creatures, and that Wardens are potentially the root cause of it.
Which makes it all the more horrifying that the ancient cities are COVERED in it. It's basically ||G-rated gore|| in Minecraft.

@rich cove Okay, so, remember how we were discussing the Minecraft movie in February, and how we both agreed that, if the movie flopped, we'd at least have Songs Of War to fall back on?
And remember how we were both lamenting that Songs Of War was never finished?
Well, turns out it was. By the fans. It's...not quite as good, given they had zero budget and no proper voice actors or musicians, but they salvaged the original audio files and original VA clips from Season 2 and Season 3 as best as they could, and what few animators they had did they best they could with the assets they were given. Some had to be remade from scratch.
It's not the best, but it's what we've got, and it finishes the story, so I hope you enjoy!

Actually, what you could do is take some tube and bubble coral (blue and purple, not blocks) and dry it out on the land. The shape is rather similar to Cypress Knees.
You can pepper a few of those around the trees.

The smash attack fall-off also makes sense for balance. Before you could jump off from like 100 blocks and kill the Ender Dragon in one hit. Now you'll have to do it in two or three.

Okay, so it seems that the mace may have been slightly over-nerfed. The new slower attack speed now can't chain properly with the Wind Burst enchantment, which was the entire point of that enchantment in the first place. So I think we may be seeing some more changes.

I am very, very annoyed that my Migrator cape was taken away from me. I did everything they asked. I migrated from my Mojang account to my Microsoft account twice, because for some reason the first time didn't work, and I got the cape and then it just vanished.
And now you can't get it.

Well, I figured out what happened to my Migrator cape...
So, it turns out, I did have the cape for a while on my second account (the first was lost), but when I had to migrate the Mojang account again because of some problem that occurred (I forget what it was exactly, maybe a forgotten password or something), I had to create another new username. So I had a new account that was now finally stable but didn't have the Migrator cape.
So it was basically a comedy of errors and bad luck that f*cked me.
