I honestly wouldn't even care all that much about that at this point if I were still playing Classic. It's not cool, but it is what it is. There's so many bots, gold sellers, people buying gold from 3rd party sources, and people turning a blind eye to it all. Yeah, I don't like the token being added, but if Blizzard isn't going to step up to constantly be cleaning up bots, gold sellers, then it doesn't matter; this was bound to happen given their history. 
The token was also out in China for a while before the servers got shut down over there. So if people are surprised, I don't know what to say.

The guild started the whole M+ challenge thing again too. Pretty much based on individual M+ score (reach 2000), and there's no ilevel or content restriction (except needing to start at 0 m+ score)
And I think there's a limit of 3 per week (with two others possible for some other situation, i forget exact details)

So, three dungeons at your keystone level or lower but if you have three people participating you can do any key level, but in order to participate you have to have three people participating with you anyway... so ???? Then there's you can do four dungeons if you use your key in the first three runs or on the fourth run, but he doesn't say if you need a fourth person participating in order to do that or if you can use a random person's key outside of participating BUT he does say that in order to do FIVE you need FIVE people participating. My brain.

I'd love a boss fight against a kraken on a pirate ship and having to man the ship in a storm. People having to re-load the cannons to prevent instant kills to the group and the whole nine-yards.

It has kinda died down since the launch week. THankfully, a lot of the resources you get (the flightstones and stuff) are obtainable from every activity pretty much (WQ and stuff). There's a couple feast/assault level activities in the new zone that you want to do, but you don't have to 100% focus on it. Heck, my main's mostly doing raid/M+ and then some rep activities for the weeklies atm

I think the staff looks better overall but you mostly play DH. If you play any classes that use staves much at all I'd probably go for that, otherwise the dagger is the play I believe.

So yes. The Dragon Aspects, depowered for along time, sense their homeland has re-emerged. It was hidden away after the Sundering, even they didn't know where it was. Now it's back, and they return home to try and reclaim their birthright... only to discover the Primalists (aka the elemental cultists who did shit like wake up Ragnaros) beat them there and are trying to resurrect the Aspect's most ancient foe, the Primal Dragons.
And they also find a leftover experiment of Deathwing: the Dracthyr, dragon-people, awakend once more after all these centuries.
The Dracthyr are a new playable race, and actually have a pretty cool story going on.

Basically, the Primal Dragons believe the Titans were oppressors, the Aspects were the Titans lackeys, and all the mortal races are Titan-spawn that are a blight on the face of the planet.
There's also some Old God shenanigans going on (because of course there are) and the Infinite Dragonflight is fucking up time again.

I mean, it's kind of funny because Algalon, a messager of the titans, was going to wipe out all life on Azeroth due to old god corruption or something during wrath.

And the primal dragons would have approved of that (or perhaps not since they're adamantly against the titans, so maybe we may have ended up siding with them had things turned out differently?)

Honestly, I think they missed an opportunity of flipping things around this expansion, maybe we could have convinced the primals not to wipe out all life and maybe they could have convinced us that the titans aren't all that cracked up as they're meant to be, citing instances we're not aware of as we think back on past interactions we've had with them.

I forget) where the draenei paladin Yrel is now Light-side Hitler, genociding all those in that timeline who do not follow the Light. And she and the Light (naaru) will probably make their way through the Dark Portal at some point

So yes, the Mag'har orcs are still from WoD, only 20 years after we left. The forces of the Light, led by Y'rel, have gone on a fucking Crusade and are in that "you're either for us or against us" mindset, wiping out anyone who will not convert to the Light.
That's why the next expansion is probably going to be Light vs Void. Demonstrate that both sides would destroy the galaxy if left unchecked.
(Which means the Pandaren will save us all by promoting Balance.)

I've heard shadow is in a weird spot for sure. It's had several reworks, none really resonating with many people. It's very strong but not very fun.
I found discipline to be pretty fun though, if a bit complicated, but I'm sure you don't want to heal.
The last time shadow was fun was probably the start of Legion, sadly. They haven't been able to quite find their bearings since.

It's too nerve wracking for me. DPS I can handle, tanking is fun for me (even if I'm not great), but healing just feels bad if I can't keep people up.
I miss tanking Heroics in Cataclysm.

At least in dungeons, I loved tanking. Keep the enemy focused on me, let the DPS burn down its HP, stay alive. Sometimes mitigating/interrupting an effect, or moving the mob so it's aimed away from the other players.

I mean, unclaimed black market ah containers have existed since mop and those have had a chance for raid and dungeon mounts for years and you need gold for those. I'm not surprised they've expanded the amount of options. The only issue I'd have is if the mount starts giving people achievement mounts. I don't really care if it gives people a random chance for a raid mount that has an annoyingly low drop rate and is a pain to constantly farm each week

How would you recommend doing it these days?

make sure you get the rep all on ONE character! 1) Tanaris pirates with a group. Don't forget guild banner and DMF buff. Those will make it to where you get 5 rep per kill. Takes about 2 1/2 to 3 hours to get from neutral to exalted with the event buff. 2) Go to fray Island (near ratchet in barrens) and kill one npc there to get exalted with gadgetzan because the Tanaris pirates only get you to 20999/21000 revered. 3) Go to booty bay and enable war with them. Farm guards and civilians until honored with bloodsail. 4) Start another group and go to Arathi Highlands in the BFA timeline. Go north and find the farm with harvesters. They give 10 rep each and hyper spawn in a short area. Farm until 11999/12000 honored. 5) Go to burning steepes on an assassin rogue and pickpocket the mobs to the right of blackrock mountain. They'll be in big square groups. Use fan of knives after picking all the pockets of one group then loot. They can drop boxes as well as good epic loot to sell. Farm here until you have 880 boxes. This takes 5+ hours if nobody else is there. 6) when your bags are full turn off autoloot and look in the chests you opened but don't loot them. They have a chance for Teebu's sword which goes for a lot. 7) when bags are full go to the zone above burning steepes to mail the boxes to your character you're getting the achievement on. 8) log over and make sure you have DMF buff. Go to Ravenholdt manor and turn the boxes in. If you have a mailbox toy this is a good place to use it. Have an auto turnin addon ready. 9) You need exalted with DMF too. Just do all the dailies, monthly quest turn ins with the dungeon loot you can buy off the AH and do every profession quest. 10) Done!

I made 500k gold for selling 6/8 pieces yesterday and all I did was buy the dungeon quest turnins that you can turn in each month on six of my characters for the tickets to buy them. The rogue set is really popular!

Yay, finally done with reps and didn't have to do any SL ones. I took advantage of that rep gains buff and pushed the last 12 I needed in 3 days. Most didn't take longer than an hour. I'll give you one guess what my 100th exalted rep was with, with the one hint being that it's a favorite of a certain WoW content creator.
Now that I'm done with that I'll probably tackle the Nightmare mount sometime soon-ish.

Fair. It's not 100% over as they'll transfer your hardcore character to classic era if they die, but yeah going to era pretty much means they're in purgatory.
Not sure how certain bosses will work in HC classic. The 2nd boss in BWL has a one-shot mechanic for people who get bombs. Only way to avoid it is if they allow the damage immune flask or if they change it.

Not sure. If his streaming name has numbers in it they might have not seen anything about him griefing as a top result before this event, but that's assuming they checked anyone at all. Remember, he gained their trust for months, doing good work, lowering the chance they'd do a search on him. At the end of the day he's at fault, not his guild.
Anyway, I think this event will certainly put him on the top radar of HC groups moving forward. But he'll probably just change his name now because he knows and likely would not stream until the day he griefs another guild.
I'm not entirely sure how, but Blizzard needs to bring in an anti griefer system.

I know. But imagine a vote system mid raid where people can vote him out fast. If the votes go in it teleports the guy to an island with no hearthstone and fatigue on all sides, the graveyard being on the island only. If you get sent here you can't appeal and you're stuck.

So it looks like the T3 gear can be created but there's a catch. You either do a weekly quest that requires materials that slowly drip feeds you one piece at a time to craft OR if you have the tier 3 achievement unlocked with a full set already you can start creating all sets sooner without having to wait as much. Both options are very expensive. I think it's an interesting system.

Oof. I accidently deleted a stack of that new Naxx currency on one of my alts, a stack you get by doing a whole run of naxx. It's really easy to delete considering they're uncommon and you don't have to type out "delete" manually. I sent a ticket and they basically said they put a restriction on the item to where they can't restore it.

Nope, sadly not. They put that restriction on it on purpose for some reason.
I guess they were afraid people might find a way to duplicate the item somehow through that system and break everything.
That's my guess.
I went to their suggestion box and suggested they at least consider making the item of a rare quality or higher so people have to type out "delete"
It's easy to delete the item when you run the raid on like 15 alts xD but I'm like the top 1% of players who do that so, oops?

Gave the new mega dungeon a shot and managed to get the first three bosses. It's a pretty fun dungeon but I'd say in the future I'd only want to do it with friends or guildies I think.
I'd like to get back into M+ and the new dungeon but I don't really want to pug anymore. Don't have a lot of friends who play these days and I always seem to find a guild that doesn't last long due to management or whatever issues has become tiring. Not sure what to do.

I did naxx on all my characters and got 1 more piece I need to craft a full t3 set. I still need 6 total lol. Haven't decided which set I'm going to do yet.
I think it would have been cool of them to have retroactively added t3 inspired sets for classes that didn't exist during the original naxx. They made a DK one during wrath, so it wouldn't have been completely farfetched. I would have made an evoker one
I think in general them adding class tiers of newer classes for older raids would be smart, would put the collectors into overdrive lol

I think rares drop a decent amount of flightstones but otherwise not really. You want to do some of the WQ in the caverns for niffen rep for mounts and stuff. Barter bricks vendor as well for i think some mogs and a mount

Oh neat. Getting 2nd to last level of Soridormi (time rift) rep gives you an item that will give you a unobtained pet or mount that you haven't had drop or bought from the time rift vendors yet (just the time rift ones, not other mounts/pets)
I went for mounts first so i ahd to choose a pet but I did get a bonus!

sigh Dammit. I moved my Blizzard folder when I upgraded my PC, and pointed the launcher to it, but it still insists the game isn't installed & I have to "reinstall" it. Thankfully it only takes a minute to realize the files are there, but it's annoying.

If you're grinding the rep, best not to get all mounts/pets first. The last level (quite far away) gives you a title and a chest that gives you an ungranted mount/pet

I got a 2nd account so I can cross-realm trade to sell my transmog and I immediately picked up an extremely rare pattern that averages for 250k but the guy undercut the other 2 people down to 20k. I can now make this unique transmog that was originally going to be added to the Naxx pool back in the day but they never added it until now:
