Oh I have one. In Classic we had a warlock who pulled aggro on one of the mini bosses before Thad and he ran away from, and kept running as he was being told to come back several times which wiped the raid and got rid of our world buffs (ugh, so glad I'm done with that garbo meta...)

I think the timer could stay and instead of it bricking your key if you fail to complete it time, you get to keep the same key level and still get a decent ranking no matter how long it took. The timer could be kept for fun stuff like maybe a mount could drop if the dungeon was completed in time on a +2 or above with higher odds of dropping the higher the key or something.
And obviously the faster you complete the higher score you get would still be a thing for people who want to get the top 0.1% achievement and title or whatever.
Tbh they should give those people more than just a title and achievement for having to stress themselves to get that in the first place. Would it kill them to give them a neat dragonriding skin too?

We need something to keep those players in. Obviously if a key is going to take wayyyyy over the time limit then yeah it's cool but if it's going to fail by a few minutes they really need something to keep them there.

I disagree that's there's plenty. There's a systematic issue. Maybe not if you have a guild and cool people to be with all the time. But in the pugging world there's 100% an issue. I've been in so many groups where one guy just leaves the moment he catches wind or believes a key is going to slightly brick, thus ruining it for everyone else.
I'd say 25% or more of the keys I've done someone just leaves even if there's no wipes. They just think it's over and that's it.
This isn't as big of an issue on lower keys but on high keys in pugs you better believe.

Evoker is probably the easiest to play with though. I'd struggle with say, a disk priest or maybe even a druid.
If you did evoker you could get to 2500 np.
You have exp with the dungeons you just need to learn a couple basic rotations for evoker and work from there.

tl;dr the Attack Speed increase is being replaced with a small damage increase instead, but to compensate a lot of baseline abilities are getting damage boosts. This is a big buff for folks without the bow, and overall a small buff for folks who use it.

My options were tier I already had, a 421 belt I already had, a 415 eranog cloak, which is bad now because of the unlimited valor cap and the 421 D rank trinket from the last boss in AV that puts a circle down you have to stand in to get stats.

I get nervous every time I look up the Wowhead comments for the mounts I go after and see: "FINALLY AFTER 1234 TRIES IT DROPPED AFTER 5 YEARS!"
And then you have the comments right under those ones that go "Oh wow, is it that rare? Thought it was 100% when it dropped for our group and I rolled a 100."

1% is the lowest I'll attempt depending on what the mount is. I don't think there's too many of those 0.1% drops these days, especially since now the mop world bosses are ~1%ish too.
The best thing to do is to not aim for just the 1 mount, it's to do all the old raids to have many chances at mounts and to increase your transmog collection.
But if you have no interest in the transmog aspect you probably won't care for that strategy

At least in terms of attempts coming back into mount farming. I think most of the mounts I've gotten so far this week with the exception of the celestial mount from Mogu (7 attempts?) have taken me 80+ attempts on average

Just to let you know but GMOD off of Jaina isn't too bad to solo farm now in RF. Skip to the last few bosses. Only thing you really need to remember is to interrupt the 2nd boss or you'll get one shot, otherwise it's easy with gear.

I just had an epiphany. So, Legion timewalking lets you buy rep for the different factions, right? 50 badges = 250 rep. You get 500 badges for doing the first dungeon on each alt per timewalking. The reps gives a cache for 10k rep that has a 3% chance at a mount. So. Starting with the wrath timewalking I'm going to do my 14 alts each time for 7k badges. I should have 35k badges before the next Legion timewalking then. 35000(badges) / 50(cost of 250 rep) = 700. 700(rep tokens) = 175,000 rep or 17.5 caches. If I aim for one mount I'll have a fair shot at it. It'll likely take 4-5 passes to get all the cache mounts this way but it's the laziest way to do it.

Thankfully there's an addon that keeps track if you are passing or failing an ach before you kill the boss so it makes it infinitely easier to do without accidently killing the boss and messing it up
The main mount I really want right now is the stupid infinite timereaver which I know is dumb to farm out but I want it! Wrath timewalking next week. Going to farm out a bunch.

You should do a set number of kills each timewalking, that way you have a fair chance at getting it eventually. Like 100 for each timewalking event. Seems like a lot, but if you're doing it on your alts for the 500 badges to buy toys and mounts it doesn't seem too bad to aim for.
For TBC and Wrath dungeons 20 kills takes about roughly an hour if you can que up as a tank or healer. So 5 hours each attempt on the weeks they're available.
I think there's a timewalking every... 3 weeks? So 17 timewalkings in a year which would be 1700 kills total if you did 100 each time. The mount has a ~1/4000 drop rate so you'd have a fair shot at seeing it by two years.
Which is a long time but that's if you're taking things into moderation.
I on the other hand am crazy and am aiming for 500 kills each time at least because I need badges for the other mounts and I'd like to see the timereaver by the 8th timewalking event.
Also, I'm no stranger to low rng things. I farmed out a rare item that took me 5000 Uldaman attempts to get.

Had to level my DK from 44 up to 50 to unlock World Quests this morning. Took a couple hours. Then I got to the location and... the elites just kicked my ass. So I did another hour of leveling to get to 53, and they still were kicking my ass.
Then I realized I was still in Chromie Time. One quick trip to Stormwind to fix that, then went to kill the bosses. But one of them has this horribly annoying stun effect, so I wasn't making much progress until an opposite-faction player ran in and started attacking while I was stunlocked. Finally got two down, and the third kept teleporting around the room... and DKs are slow. We finally managed to finish her off & got my appearance to drop.
Now I need to do a fuckton of Legion dungeons and WQs to unlock alternate colors for it.

So the way I found a guild with all the guild mounts is I went to guild search tool in game and looked for guilds that have been around since 2012 at least, then I looked them up on the WoW armory to see if they had the required achievements for the mounts.

There will no longer be a Level 10 seasonal affix.
There will be no replacement for Thundering, and it has been retired.
The team is also taking a closer look at the Level 7 affixes. How much of that is making your healer's life harder versus how much is allowing players to try and outplay the mechanic.
Seasonal affixes were created back in Battle for Azeroth when you were playing the same dungeons for many seasons. These affixes tried to solve the problem of dungeons feeling solved, with a specific known route and approach.
The variety problem doesn't need to be solved anymore.
Taking a close look at Brackenhide Hollow, may even remove specific dungeon mechanics from other Mythic 0 dungeons.

What's cool though is if you already have something high level/upgraded like say a trinket at 437, you can upgrade other trinkets for no crest cost and half the flightstones cost

Based on that, I'd hazard a guess that M+ will be fragments and/or crests, depending on the key level
So like based on that sheet, 428's the earliest heroic level but I think the highest keys give (or vault?) higher than that. Doing 20s I think would give maybe the one Aspect crest to get it to 441, and below 20s you'd get wyrm and drake crests

If anyone has an alt that is level 60+ w/ an ilvl of 180+ I'm doing timewalking on my alts that can tank/heal. I did like 4-5 runs on my paladin and got from 62-65 in less than an hour.
80k bonus exp per completed dungeon and I was getting like 3k per boss kill at 64...? I think.
Come get yer levels, gear and a very slim chance for timey-wimey-drakey-wakey mount.

The mythic tints for the current season can be unlocked by upgrading the pieces to 415. I hope we can still unlock them through M+ for season 2
I think if the tints for the Paladin set are going from top to bottom, RF to Mythic I like the RF (purple) one the best for them followed by heroic (black)
The Mythic one is just a shinier brighter version of the normal one with red

They can give it a charge up time with animations so everyone know it's coming so they can reposition.
Or maybe the DH needs to use the ability to negate a certain mechanic.

The hunter's bow breaking should make a return. That was just hilarious that they'd have to stockpile bows to switch through. Maybe not a permanent break but like a 5 second break just to give them flashbacks.
Or they could have a repair thing during the boss encounter so they can go repair the bow fast

So, they sort of can be. The mini games where you get a package that contain one ticket can be mailed to your alts err or could in the past. I'm not sure if they ever changed that or not.
But that's only like 7 extra tickets to mail to the main per alt a day and it's a decent amount of effort so I don't bother doing that.
The pet battles are a good source as you can net an extra 15 tickets a day. Two lil' bling pets, a pet that does elemental damage and another one of your choice can get through those two no problem.

I think I just quickly hit the point where you had to have specific pets in order to advance the battle quests, and I just had no interest in going around fighting to gather them, just to go back and get to the next quest that makes me get different pets to win...

Yeah, overloading a Titan-Touched node opens a portal to another nearby node. But my luck it's always been a plain one.
They're patching it in 10.0.7 to add more consistent rewards, I'd have to find the notes.

tl;dr unlocking the Titan-Touched spec tree will give you a portal back to where you came from as soon as it's unlocked.

I would like to see a support class that isn't a healer. They'd still need to do dps in order for it to work in M+ and the support they bring would need to be good enough to be considered instead of just bringing another pure dps.
They could still label them as dps since adding another pure role might be messy but they'd mostly be the support role of adding a ton of utility and buffs for their team.
FFXIV has some interesting classes that does stuff like that where if you do your dps rotation you provide certain buffs for the team. Or think of the hunting horn from Monster Hunter World where you play a set of songs in a certain order to provide a certain buff.

Yeah, but it would be a very hard balancing act. It needs enough dps to survive well in solo content, and if it has so much utility in groups, it's like it gets a guaranteed spot in 5 man or raid content

Hmm... They don't need to do solo content or be designed for solo content though. People don't usually do solo content as a healer, maybe more often as a tank I suppose. The point of the spec is to mainly bring up others. They can just switch to the other dps spec for solo. Having a guaranteed spot in raid content isn't an issue, they're trying to do that with the ret paladin right now by giving them a buff that every raid will want. As for as 5 man content, sure. The balancing act there will be interesting.

Hmm, it'd be nice to see them make the allied race mounts all faction-account wide. I know it's an opposite faction thing but considering the effort you need to go through to unlock each individual allied race and the fact that each one has a unique mount it'd be only fair to make them faction wide. I know people would argue that'd only open the flood gates for unlocking all faction specific mounts to become available to both factions but I feel that allied races are a unique exception that should be considered.
