That's code for GTA V
8 million people watched that live
okay yeah no gta vi will blow that away for certain
never heard of it
I don't think I saw Chandrayaan 3.
gonna get cruuushed
The entirety of India certainly heard of it
betcha they've heard of gta too tho
Not bigger than Lego though.
🚙

i mean let's not get crazy
Meanwhile the GTA6 hype has me going
yeah but like since when do you like very popular things
Dude I'm gonna drive a car so fast in GTA 6
im excited but i dont think i'll be able to play it
(this isn't me throwing shade - we're just built different)
It does suck that Rockstar does use a game launcher though, and a goddam awful one at that.
gesticulates wildly at SMRPG and Mario Wonder
ok ok fair
gesticulate is such a funny word
yeah it should be the word of the year tbh 😂
I think it's because in general GTAs appeal on me is lost
Hell at some point I think I had assumed GTA6 already came out
My favorite thing about the gta series is I like to see videos about creepy things and secrets in each gta game
Drive fast! Do crimes! Do crimes! Drive fast!
remember the spooky ghost lady Specs
Same, captainmario. Typically, after every game play session, I'd save and just find a super fast bike and drive around as fast as I can for awhile. So fun
GTA’s okay. shrug
which always ended in death
I think i tried 3-4 times to get into GTA or clones
Yeah, I thought it was a myth but was actually in the game so I was creeped out
i wonder if my computer could handle GTA V i'm sort of interedted in playing it. the most ive played is at my uncles house like 9 years ago lol
Gta4 and san andreas has the creepiest secrets for me
Have you tried The Godfather video game series?
GTA Online was the only thing I actually enjoyed when I had a few friends to play it with, but that was only over a few months.
Like RDR2 well enough, the fantasy of the gangster just isn't appealing at all for me
I think you'd like it genryu
I really don't like italian mafia stuff because I am too familiar with the real thing, and the dramatised version just come off as fake as hell
Some people were asking for Mexican mafia GTA game, I'm like "fuck no".
Red Dead Redemption is cool
i never tried rdr2. I need to
It's the best rockstar game
If you gonna do something serious, you gotta do it right.
RDR2 was pretty fun
i dunno, i like all kinds of games. games games games
I've heard when The Godfather first came out, real life gangsters started imitating its characters
RDR I like because cowboys are fun, I can definitely get immersed in that one.
We need a plan Arthur.
I really don't like cowboy stuff because I am too familiar with the real thing, and the dramatised version just come off as fake as hell
I've ridden real horses so video game horses are always disappointing
I also like Yakuza well enough, but it's a very different beast from GTA, and I still actually don't like the GTA bits that much, I like the big ultra dramatic set pieces
ok I'm not even sure how kidding I am there
Video game horses are always so badly done
I like the elden ring horse
There is also no IK tech except bipedals.
Yakuza games are, like, an event. They're a whole 💫😵 thing
I think Shadow of the Colossus had a pretty good horse? but wow I played that a lifetime ago
nuh uh in Skyrim horses can climb mountains
So imagine reinventing mathematics to create IK tech for horse, absolute nightmare.
Yes, true, but Roach memes are forever funny so it's fine
I forgot what red dead redemption I was playing, but I remember playing some remastered one and it was extremely buggy and had quite a few sequence breaks but it was very fun in it's own way. Which I played the other red deads and they were completely fine
Roach memes?

Oh, I haven’t played the Witcher series yet… always meant to
The Witcher 3 is a series I tried hard to get into and failed so many times
knowing what I know now about Witcher mythos it feels a bit odd that Witcher 2 had no horse
I'm like "People like this what is wrong with me!"
but probably for the best, it's still my favorite of those games by a mile
When you really need to get off a mountain... Roach never skips a front leg day
THE WITCHER 3: WILD HUNT – COMPLETE EDITION
https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-us/tid=CUSA05725_00
...okay I never had this experience in W3
If you are cursed enough with technology, you are cursed enough to experience this.
At launch it was definitely not uncommon, probably they fixed the worst of it overtime
lmao
Any time people bring up Wild Hunt I feel inclined to share one of my favorite The Onion articles - https://www.theonion.com/the-witcher-producers-assure-gamers-netflix-series-wi-1839499728
Good news Witcher fans! After months of speculation over Netflix’s upcoming production, and growing worry that major elements from the books and the Witcher games would be cut out of the show, producers have finally put those concerns to rest by assuring gamers that all 400 side quests from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt…
Amazing
it's one of the few games I played for >100 hours and I never considered getting the full Ursine armor set
Roach also happend to appear on roofs at times, and other stuff like that, it's great
I must've played after that stuff got patched
I couldt get a handle on Witcher 3's combat or story
I need to give Witcher 3 another shot.
Everyone keeps telling me its good, but I get immediately disinterested after I gain controls.
The roof part happened when you whistled for it and the random "let's spawn the horse here" happened to be be placed on top of a structure
whistle
as far as Witcher story goes I strongly recommend 2 because it's so much more focused, and ironically has more meaningful branching in its core narrative than W3
That's me with Witcher 2
And witcher 1
but I wouldn't recommend any of them for the gameplay; it's fine, but not what I played them for
Witcher 2 gameplay was physically painful to me
It's the one game I tossed down to easy
these extremes always confuse me a bit though
yes, at its worst you do shield spell, attack attack attack, shield spell, attack attack attack
but that's also nearly every other RPG I've ever played, turn-based or "action", with curaga replaced by shield spell
Witcher 1 is fine if you don't mind some jank and are used to RPGs, it's it's clearly a sorta CRPG with realtime control instead of turns and in which you control just one dude.
The jank is not little but you can work with that system, once you understand it.
wakka like Pac Man
No, the one from FFX.
Witcher 2 is awful because it tries to be action but it still runs on RPG logic
I blame him because I am upset that he allowed himself to be named Wakka.
Witcher 3 did the transition to action, it's more than serviceable
It's got a shit start.
Wakka can mean throwing up, sick in spanish slang, or disgusting. (Wakkale = Ewwww)
It's the awkward middle step that really doesn't work
Like Dragon Age 2
Dragon Age 1 is full RPG, works good
Dragon Age 3 is basically full action, works good
Dragon Age 2 : Weird hybrid that doesn't do either well
weird, I found W2 and W3 pretty similar in overall RPG jank levels
In my opinion they aren't even comparable
although W3 also has open world jank
Okay, so which Witcher game should I start with then?
I have all three.
I have not played any of them.
unfortunately it seems like everyone will give you a different answer on this

for me, the whole appeal of Witcher is the setting, story, and cast, and Witcher 2 is by far the best at those if you aren't already invested in them
Not to say that W3 doesn't have combat jank, I wont play that game without the Combat Redux mod for a reason, but at least you can be good at W3 combat, in W2 you can't be good at combat, you can be good at managing the nonsense that surrounds combat
imo 3 works a lot better if you already know a lot of these people
I would strongly recommend against Witcher 1
I couldn't even get through a let's play of it
sometimes things age so badly they're better off skipped
what does redux mean
I would start with trying 1, if you can't because it's too jank just watch the 4 hours video from Joseph Anderson
but also none of the 3 Witcher games really require you to know the others in detail, they're essentially telling separate stories that happen to all have Geralt as the protagonist
Remaking plus adding new features
i mean da2 is fun but indeed wonky
my biggest gripe are still the repeated maps
all of kirkwall has one (1) basement
ds2 is also fun but indeed wonky
It's definitely easy to bounce off Wicther 1
- The tutorial is easly the worst part of the game
- It doesn't hold your hand almost at all, it's one of the few games that if you go into a crypt and you don't have a cap potion or a torch it's just actually pitch black and you can't see shit.
- It's old and looks old.
That said there is a lot of love and you feel it while playing, lots of systems, the story is exceptional, the caracters are actually really well written, it feels unique if nothing else because it's a game made by a pretty small company at the time in eastern europe, it has a lot of charm.
Really wish dragon age would get s trilogy collection like mass effect
Okay, what about the Witcher 2?
I did not make it through the witcher 1 tutorial
I made it way past the tutorial of the let's play I tried to watch, but I was so bored to death of the story I can't even remember what was going on when I did drop it
I hate Witcher 2 gameplay so much that I am not the right person to sell the experience to you.
That said, I love the story so much that I played it twice despite it being like, 20 hours long.
Oh I didn't realize the trailer drops at, like, 6 am. No one watch it, MA wins
this is one of those rare game series where the experiences I had and the experiences others report are so far apart they seem logically incompatible with us having played the same underlying game, and yet both are somehow real
Of a game I actively despise actually playing
It just sounds like I shouldn't bother with any of the games.
maybe try the Netflix show lol
They are all flawed in some ways but are all very good in others
but if you're gonna be turned off by two people having wildly different experiences with a game, this will not be the last time it comes up
I think that to see if the good outweight the bad for you, you'd need to try them
~~speaking of Fromsoft
~~
Alright, I'll give the first one a shot.
when will Dark Souls IIII come out
I don't mind jank, I've played lots of jank games before.
I just hope the game doesn't give me a lore dump like Witcher 3 does.
I don't even know what part of W3 you're referring to
The very beginning.
like the opening tells you barely anything
the first long cutscene sequence I remember comes after finishing the tutorial/prologue
Yeah, that's what I mean. Its like the game already expected what I already know, and I had to like look for wikis to find meaning on what I was seeing.
I don't know.
I don't know how to explain myself.
Whenever I play the Witcher 3, I can't get into it because it feels like the game already assumes I've played this type of genre.
When I play the tutorial, I get a bunch of wall texts describing every function.
Its almost like an MMO but somehow its single player.
well... I get that vibe from every RPG lol
I don't get this from Bethesda RPGs, but then again... Bethesda is a very specific taste.
In W1 I will say, despite the awful prologue, the world is basically just normal fantasy world but more adult themed, so it doesn't have to explain that much.
Of you mean it's overtutorialised, W1 definitely will be
Maybe I'm getting too old to figure out its gimmicks.
But it at least doesn't waste much time before giving you some action
Yes, I mean, it's an RPG, quicksave quickload, and all that kind of stuff
You don't get it do you. If you die in the tutorial you die in the real game
Cuphead tutorial
Like don't give me a power fantasy moment, just provide me a road and then let me off the road.
But yeah, guess I'll find out.

see now that sounds like Witcher 3
Witcher 1 has difficulty modes as well, if I was ever to replay it I'd definitely replay it on easy for the story
Doing it once on hard mode was enough
excuse-me
but what?
what is the point of this
W2 had difficulties, right? I don't even remember
I assume I set it to minimum difficulty when I did that playthrough with my mom making all the story choices
Yes
(most of my brainpower went toward remembering where all the good gear was since that's what lets you skip 99% of the grind)
Activision isn't known for the most epic decisions
W2 had the mode that when you die, you had to start again as well
And let's not forget, W2 was the one with quicktime events in cutscenes to not die
And those, like the rest of the game, were jank as hell
I never understood why anyone would voluntarily play a game longer than an hour or so on one-hit-save-wipe mode
God of war made me realize how bad I was in QTEs
personally my only strong memory of dying in a QTE cutscene was Resident Evil 4 (the original), and that was a great experience because I had actually let my guard down; it got me fair and square
QTE events are good in a very specific situation.
God of War uses them correctly.
Make me push buttons to make my dude do awesome shit he wouldn't do normally.
RE4 and 5 are the example of the worst kind of QTE
I remember the bad kind of QTE becoming popular after RE4, but I liked them in RE4 itself
(not that I mind the remake doing things differently, game design's evolved a lot since then)
The one that you are watching a cutscene, you decided to drink from the juice box you brought with you, and suddently they kill you because you had to consume matter to stay alive in this world instead of staring intently at the screen with both hands on the controller
if I need actual safety to eat or drink stuff I'll just pause the game
(I forget if the cutscenes were pausable; if not that sucks but it's a different thing)
Hell yeah
IdK why but now that I wrote that, I realised that it's like driving a car.
When you are driving a QTE to not die can happen at any point so you better not be drinking a juice
thank you for reminding me of a very specific event from back when I had a learner's permit
I have two hands
One is for drinking water while driving and the other is for texting
You better not be drinking any juice though. It makes ppl act crazy
also every time I need to walk across a street and there are bicycles involved
I am still thinking the reasons behind this
they had some agreement to promote the game with ray tracing?
what why this is just what
The make the cosmetic stuff look better i guess
Side note i bought a skin the other day i actually liked

It's time to play some games!!!!
Arietta of Spirits is a charming adventure game with emotion-filled narrative, no-filler gameplay, and fast paced combat. The game tells the story of Arietta and her family, visiting their Grandmother's cabin for the first time after her passing away a year prior. However, the family trip takes an unexpected turn when Arietta meets a mysterious ...

I've been waiting for this game to go on a good sale for two years
Is it cool??
It seems cool. I'll try it soon
Oh, thanks for the info, I wanted it as well
Have you played Chrono Cross or FF7 or Chained Echoes or Sea of Stars
ive played FF7
You should put games you want in your wishlist so I can remind you if I see them on sale
I played Chrono Trigger and FF7
I think it kinda looks like that too
Did you guys finish FF7??
I sometimes play it
Did you guys see how Fortnite looks now and how you move differently? Since like yesterday
I did. Personally i like the new animations. They're much smoother
I just played now and I think it looks and moves really cool like they really know how to make a game I think
Although i feel they made the walking a bit too slow
I like how you swing when you jump and activate the parachute
And how you walk when you crouch
And how light is lightning I really like that it looks so pretty

ooh i lvoe these protags
1 million likes, 50,000 views.
Leave it to Rockstar to defy the laws of reality.
Holy fuck the graphics
They were late 6 minutes
I can’t wait!

lmao bruh
looks great
this feels like a moment in history
gta transcends almost every other video game ip
@mossy flume
ikr ?????
it's a Counter-Strike 2 moment
i wonder if it got so many views in so little time that the view count hasn't been able to catch up
I don't really understand the insane hype to the point where people are tearing their own hair out at the thought of this game but I guess it's been a very long time since GTA V
LES GOOOOOO
I hate to say it, but many people who have watched this trailer and are eager to play it won't survive to see the game release. 😶
Did YouTube crash?
LES FREAKING GO
(statistically speaking)
Well, the stream didn't happen.
2 years is my guess 💖💖💖👏👏
Time to actually watch it.
this is a very Florida trailer
it was the same for GTA V, first announcement was in 2011 after all
and if you're a PC player, expect to wait even longer
My dad will play games again
i mean, the trailer straight up says 2025
it took roughly 1 year for RDR2 to come out on PC, and 1.5 years for GTA V
This is so awesome 👏🌟🌟🌟
Yes it did.
Yes it did
Youtube notifications are always late
But yeah, 2025! Pretty much on target.
It was a premiere
Yep
I'm being snarky, yes.
Looking at the trailer in detail, GTA VI is gonna be like... 500GBs.
I don't know...
That's a lot of detail
Okay maybe 240gbs, but holy fuck Rockstar.
Or current consoles.
Les go im so excited 👏👏
I'm looking forward to what new mechanics will be introduced in the game
if it's even close to half the detail in rdr2, this will be amazing
Goddam the graphics are just crazy, what the hell kind of overhead they are dealing with?
Rip there being an Xbox one version of the game lol

rdr2 is still the most impressive video game I've ever seen on a technical level
RDR2 is one of my favorites of all time.
im most curious about the protagonists. Bonnie and Clyde esque duo is a really great idea for GTA lol
I guess now with SSDs finally being the standard in both consoles and pc, they can do some wild stuff
I haven't watched the trailer yet (headphones out of battery) but from the screenshots, it looks nice by today's standards but remember this is expected to release in 2025 or later
and by "nice", it's not Alan Wake 2 or Cyberpunk RT Overdrive amazing – though I assume it's meant to reflect a console version, not an eventual PC version
You know, a while ago, I decided to make a prediction.
Which game would release first: GTA VI, or Half-Life 3?
I decided that there was no way Half-Life 3 would release after GTA VI did. This opinion was reinforced by Alyx's release, which gave the Half-Life franchise some actual momentum that GTA lacked. At that point, I was absolutely convinced that my prediction was correct; I even thought that we might get Half-Life 3 before we heard any official confirmation from Rockstar about a new GTA game.
...looks like I can't even win the bets that I make with myself.
Valve has literally no incentive to make games
Look on the bright side
Well about time someone mentioned Alan Wake 2 in a conversation, feels like people are completely sleeping on that game
At least you get to pay out to yourself. You're gonna be rich
isn't it up for GotY at the Game Awards
I thought that with Alyx the idea of Half Life 3 was more likely than at any point before but I still don't know if they're gonna do it or not
That doesn't take away from the fact that people aren't talking enough about Alan Wake 2
Whole world thinks about GTA 6 now this is crazy 🌟🌟👏👏
It's visually one of the most gorgeous games I've seen from the last few years, artistically and technically
Has some of the most impressing facial tracking too especially in a specific set of characters where it shines the most
They will when it wins game of the year in 2 days
Every Valve game that comes out is a vanity project, if they make HL3 it will be because they have an especially creative idea for it.
Alyx exists because Valve devs wanted to play around with VR
And the seamless transitions from the mind place into the real world is the most impressive thing I've seen
Even though the map takes a million years to load sometimes and it has some memory leaks here and there, it's still extremely impressive as a game
but people don't seem to really talk about it from what I've seen
as a rendering enthusiast, I sure heard lots about it
Digital Foundry sung its praises for good reason 😛
it's 2horror5me so I'll skip it, but I plan to check out Cyberpunk's RT Overdrive eventually
Don't forget the music 💖💖👏
ive heard about it as much as any other single player game that's come out this year
even Control with RT is a very good-looking game today
I don't know what RT overdrive means but it sure is a spoopy game
It's the closest thing we've ever gotten to a proper new Silent Hill game in terms of the quality of pretty much everything
the EGS exclusivity left some people sour about it
there is a workaround to the launcher requirement, but it breaks cutscene skipping and requires a new save slot
i forgot about that
Yeah, that's terrible, people shouldn't buy it from the EGS
@strong pebble please don't spam reactions, this is your final warning
One of the streamers I was watching playing it got completely locked out because the EGS servers were shitting themselves and I think AW2 is entirely digital so no game for you
I have no problem with EGS, but also, it's a full priced game of a franchise I have not that much interest in
True.
Valve's proven to be a rather creative bunch, though.
I suppose I imagined that they would come up with some wacky idea (or that some new technology would come out that their developers would want to play with) before Rockstar got around to making a new GTA installment.
IDK have they?
unlike most games, the exclusivity isn't expected to be temporary either, it will likely remain the case forever since Epic publishes the game
all im happy about is that Epistle 3 isn't possible anymore 😎
They were a while ago, nowdays they don't really make much
Alyx seems to have been recieved well tho, so I supposed someone with good ideas must still be at the company
Alyx was so good
It sucks honestly, wouldn't be surprised if not that many people haven't played it because it's not on other platforms
Not too interested in GTA as a franchise, but DAMN those are some FIRE visuals. They went all out with the graphical upgrades, it looks a thousand leagues better than 5.
Oh hey, the thing happened
So far their biggest recent innovations have been in kids gambling addiction thanks to CSGO
People were this hungry that the entire thing just kept leaking.
Like, some of the clips in that trailer actually looked real.
It had alligators
I never pegged Rockstar as developers that are particularly interested in open world games like GTA so I doubt that
my gambling addiction started with Super Mario 64 DS
It has an alligator going to the store to pick up some snacks.
Is it the mario minigames
no they were Luigi's
I know
*team fortress 2
i was obsessed with picture poker
Minigames need a return in mario games, they only really lasted during the ds era
But at least Valve is still doing something and not just sitting around, they made the Steamdeck which I still think is extremely impressive and a fantastic idea and seemed to have done pretty well despite some shortcomings, before that they had done the Steam controller which I still think is one of the best designed controllers I've seen, and then they played around with VR with Alyx which is one of the best VR experiences I think, and even though it's not yet ''finished'' CS2 is impressive too
Bethesda cursed us with Horse Armor.
Porting an entire game to another engine is not an easy task
We never recovered.
True, they did manage to crack the handheld market with a steam machine, which is impressive
TF2 only had the crates added retroactively they were a thing before in CSGO I think
CSGO gambling is much bigger than TF2's hats
Whoa, be careful!
Every time you mention that DLC, Bethesda hears.
Legend has it that if you say it enough times, they'll make another...
They did also fail with at hardware developing 2 times tho
With the steam link and the big steam machines flop
CS2 is one of this year's best-looking games if you ask me
did you mean Valve? ive been trying to understand this message and my brain isn't working
it's largely carried by its art direction (it has no groundbreaking rendering tech), but it proves that good art direction can carry anything 😛
Sure but I was bringing those up more to say that even though they're not actively making any new games they're still doing stuff and still showing that Valve is still full of innovating people
I did mean Valve
Valve is pretty important with VR because otherwise it would be Facebook running the show.
tf2 definitely had crates before csgo did
I wouldn't say the Source 2 rendering tech is dated, but it's a bit "against the wind" so to speak. That doesn't mean it's bad, it also helps eschew that usual "Unreal Engine-esque" look
what
but muh brown tones realism!!!11 CS2 is too colorful it's too cartoony!!11 what is this a mario gaem?
smh my head
I like me some colors in my games
a lot of people run the game at minimum settings where it's not as good, but still fine-looking
I still can't believe the first reaction a lot of CSGO players had was being mad that CS2 actually added colorful vibrant visuals instead of the same greyish brown tones to all areas
visuals were made vibrant because all the competitive players were already doing it with third-party settings like VibranceGUI
so they effectively made the competitive visuals the default ones 🙂
I do also think it's a pretty gorgeous looking game, the only double edge with that is that Valve games have pretty huge reputations for being playable on anything
So I wonder if CS2 will cause some people to not be able to run the game as well?
yeah, it is a fair bit more demanding but still less so than a modern AAA game
It's a significant upgrade but maybe it's optimized to hell and the lower graphic settings play really well on low end computers
I haven't really played CS in ages so I can't say
they could expose "potato settings" so to speak (the Fortnite approach), but in a competitive game it's always a bit risky because these can sometimes be exploited to get better visibility
Fair to say that low end computers now are a lot more powerful than when CSGO came out
integrated graphic cards on modern CPUs today are often on par with low end dedicated GPUs
Hype, Hype Hype

the Radeon 780M matches a GTX 1060 3GB if given enough TDP, so yeah
(best-case scenario for an IGP currently, most people will not be able to reproduce this)
I unfortunately can't say much on whether or not the CS2 visual upgrade will affect low end computers because I don't know much about them and I also don't know what people generally use
Though I think Steam checks that kind of stuff...?
The hardware that people use I mean, or something like that, I seem to remember they would do surveys or something before
So I would imagine that they probably still optimized CS2 super well just in case anyways
there's a survey, I regularly get it
(gotta increase Linux usage stats)
and the 4090 owner gang too
I must have it disabled then because I haven't gotten one at all in years and years
I don't think you can opt out of it, but it's random
Ngl, I don't know my computer enough to know what it can run, so I usually just attempt to run a game and hope my computer doesn't switch to a toaster with a digital screen
you can sometimes get it twice in 3 months (happened to me recently), or never in 5 years
I've used canyourunit for years but weirdly it's not a be all end all sometimes when a game would say it wouldn't run I still could run it fairly alright ish but it's still a good reference point
Yeah it's why the super low end GPUs aren't even sold anymore
Nvidia used to have like, 100 bucks GPU you could buy to slot which basically you would do only if you were desperate, were swindled by your computer shop, or were secretly masochistic and liked suffering.
Generally before I upgraded most games past like 2013 were a complete no-go for me
So I never bothered
It's why there's still so many games I haven't played that most other people have it's because I never had a system to actually run them
It's year 2690, we got RTX69420 with a size of an apartment, and we can finally play hl3 with it

Imagine Valve dropping an Half Life 3 Annoucement:
I imagine it would take a significant amount of new innovations in tech for games to make Valve actually make Half Life 3 at some point, but I honestly can't think of anything new that games could do that Valve would find interesting enough to expand upon since all their other games introduced or at least expanded upon a lot of crazy things that games could do
I remember at some point, we were maybe 20, a friend of mine asked me to check why his computer was going so slow, and we ran a benchmark with some unholy GT 520 or some shit, and the computer literally ran better without GPU
The new innovation will be that you physically take the same damage and injuries as you do in the game
Meanwhile Valve: Try Artifact and DOTA Underlords
I'd imagine that something has to come along eventually. Perhaps not anytime soon, but eventually.
...or perhaps Valve will actually start falling on hard times financially at some point within the next 700 years, and a Half-Life 3 release will be their panic button to gain some revenue.
Valve's new VR system where a Valve employee will watch you play and punch you as your character takes damage for extra immersion
Eeeeh I don't know, I'd imagine with how many consecutive games they were releasing in the 2000s that if something significant came up they would've eventually made something new, they kind of did with Alyx but that's because they dabbled in the whole VR craze thing, and even then they came out with that near the end of the whole VR craze
I can't really think of what significant innovations Half Life 3 could do that would make Valve interested in making it
but then again this stuff takes so many people and so many years to figure out new stuff especially now where so much has been done already
Basically Nintendo saying "no we have no plan for fzero game because we have ran out of ideas"
I probably can't think of any other game that was more dead on arrival than that one
I think it ceased development altogether almost immediately
To be fair, it's not that Valve devs don't have any ideas probably
But they seem to only want to make stuff when they know it can push games or hardware forward and innovate significantly
That is what Nintendo says
Which, fair to them, it's not like they have to make games to make money anymore
"We have nothing new to give you, so we just don't make one"
At least they threw us fzero 99
Time for HL99

Warning - shooting and kinda scary
Unlike Nintendo though, at least Valve lets you play their old stuff and has them easily accessible on their store
I mean, I also agree in that I don't know what Valve would be able to do that would incentivize them to make the game. Not now, at least; especially since Half-Life is an FPS series, which the industry has heavily explored at this juncture.
Still, though, some new things may come up, and some situations may change. I suppose we'll just have to wait and see.
Well thanks to it being pc
As much as I would hope for it to happen I think it's already been far too long but we'll see, maybe they'll do Portal 3 with some even wackier physics simulation stuff or something
I hope this will end up good, I haven't finished SoC yet and i probably should
they had a rough patch with the NFT thing that happened but they backed out of that very quickly and realized how much people hated the idea
I think portal 3 is more likely because puzzle games are definitely a lot less tapped as a genre
Especially with their specific sci fi writing they have for them
There is also the fact that shooter single player games are in fact changing and innovating, but they are innovating away from Valve style, which is probably the bigger obstacle
Like the "no cutscenes, player always in control, people talk at the player in a pretty stunted way" is a terrible way to deliver story in most situations and it wroked for HL because it was the style at the time but it would feel pretty weird nowdays.
It for sure looked awkard in Starfield
It work well in VR because of the gimmick of VR
But that's basically the only place where it doesn't feel weird nowdays
I agree, I mean if we get one I'd rather they have a completely different setting, and keep the "Experiments ran by AI" theme.
I don't think it's necessary but if they do one, I'd rather they do it that way
though i suppose some sort of anthology thing would work good for a full game. they did that Steam Deck tutorial game thingy that took place in Aperture
I don't know, I actually always liked how Valve games always had that way of doing things, especially how they never seemed to change their style of doing FPS I always thought it was pretty unique whereas other games could end up feeling samey, I wonder how much of it really is just 'jank' or 'dated' mechanics and how much it's just their style
Portal 3 would be cool though and I could totally see them dropping some Half Life hints knowing the really cool stuff that they always do with their enviromental storytelling and worldbuilding on their games
I always appreciated the interactivity the player has with the world even as far back as Half Life 1
Valve style I feel wasn't uncommon for when they were making games
What was uncommon was that their story was actually good, but the style was pretty common in FPS
Honestly, if anything, we might get more out of a Portal 1.5.
Doesn't Portal 2 take multiple centuries (or something similar) after HL2?
I don't know how Black Mesa does it, but I really can't imagine a game like Half Life having cutscenes all the time or having walk n talk sections or stuff like that that has become pretty ingrained in games now especially when they are trying to tell a story
it takes a looooong time after Half Life 2 yeah
Like, if you look at other FPS it's full of examples of no cutscenes always first person games
though that could be the computer glitching out, we might never know
In the past
Black Mesa sticks with the original Valve "no-cutscenes" style. I think it works in the case of that particular game, but I suppose that's rather unsurprising given that the same style was used for HL1.
It's basically just DOOM
But there is story
Quake also, Bioshock and IIRC system shock before that
Deus Ex
I don't particularly see that stuff as a negative myself even though I understand why it can get in the way sometimes and I get what you're saying
I play Bioshock now it's not easy
ive only played Quake 1 so the only story i remember is from the inter episode cards
Yeah I'm just saying that the genre just moved away from those standards, and an HL3 made nowdays, with the same style would feel weird to a lot of players
The genre is innovating, it's just innovating away from what HL was known for
yeah and i dont like it get off my lawn these damn kids etc
It would feel weird and that's why I think it would be so good! It's unique
Which makes a sequel harder, especially when they don't have to do it
They are perfectly content to just take 30% selling other games forever
what do you do if you work at Valve
Yeah, it's not on the same level of immersion as half life
I don't think they're gonna make new games personally but I still like to think about what they'd do if they did release one
I wonder how many times they did try to make HL3 just to scap it
I definitely don't think HL3 is gonna be a thing ever
Take the slide down to the ball pit, go up the elevator to the mess hall, repeat
well there was the leaked Epistle 3 a while back
which outlined the story
(it was bad)
I think they probably really did work on Half Life 3 shortly after HL2 but when the people involved in Valve stuff at the time start leaving and years start going by I think eventually they just dropped it entirely
Maybe ideas flied around devs but I doubt they ever made anything concrete if I had to take a guess
Valve is still full of amazing creatives but all the people involved in past stuff aren't there anymore which makes these games existing much harder too
Oh it will be at some point, Valve is big now but there is no guaratnee it'll stay at the top forever, and if they start to need to make games, I guaratnee HL3 will be something they do wether they have a good idea for it or not.
Ideally they would tho, given that they had so long to think about what to do for it.
Unreal did the "no cutscenes uninterrupted sequence" thing before Half-Life, but without any backtracking and with no dialogue. It didn't even have a Use button to interact with the world
I'm going to throw my hat into this speculation ring and say that I think they fully completed half life 3, but they programmed it so that after you play it you get struck by lightning, which sucks ass so they didn't release it
Yeah that's not ideal
Well, I think Epistle 3 was more of a preliminary spitball session than an actual solid plot outline. Things likely would have changed had they actually gone further into development.
fun fact: Unreal simulates day-night cycle by having you progressively go through maps that go further into the night. Each map still has fixed time of day, but it looks like the day is cycling as you play
Serious Sam also does this (one of the levels even has different time of day on Serious difficulty, implying the fact you're progressing faster, funnily enough)

Gamers
Valve developers are talented to the point that they can control the weather. By coding in C++.
this is the power of C++
They originally got the idea for noclipping because that's how Newell showed up to the office every morning, actually.
Casually phased through the floor with a steaming coffee mug in hand, then levitated to his desk to start the day.
When asked how is he doing that Gabe just says he thought everyone else could do it too
So humble
yeah but i never miss a chance to dunk on it 😎
Going back to the whole Valve style from earlier I would totally love it if they did release HL3 only for modern FPS players to ask stuff like ''how the hell do I aim down the sights?
'' ''what's the sprint button?''
I'd like to imagine they'd keep it about the same style as the other Half Lifes like that
they can ask those questions in counter strike
I mean a HL3 that is just HL2 but more graphics I don't think would interest me personally, I'd want it to be modernised.
I think the only other game to do it like that is Valorant
and every single other valve fps
At least for me
Ideally, Half Life 3 would innovate significantly that it wouldn't just be HL2 with better visuals, but when it comes to their FPS style it's the one thing I could never see a Half Life game doing
Now the always first person and not cutscenes is defitely a more realistic choice
And I wouldn't mind if they kept that part
I think basically what HL3 should look like in 2023 is basically Deadspace but first person
And not in space
That's like the most half-lifey thing about half life
I can't imagine Gordon sprinting with a rifle in his hands, sliding while shooting, aiming down sights, or whatever other things you have the ability to do in shooters for years now
I wonder how they would modernize it without just copy pasting it the standard shooter gameplay into a half life game
I could definitely see him sliding while shooting
but you can sprint in hl2
I mean I don't see him sliding while shooting but also, it's not any more abusrd than BLJ
If anything is several layers more grounded than a lot of HL2 movment tech
Have you see how high you jump in those games
You can also long jump since Half Life 1 but the point is basically that I would be disappointed if a hypothetical half life 3 went with a standard modern shooter direction rather than seeing how they can iterate on their own style of shooter
HL2 originally had accelerated backward hopping, which reminds me a bit of BLJ
it was pretty extreme but was patched out in Orange Box
As I said, I think that more than modern shooter it'd make sense to have a modern suvival game movment tech if anything
Like Deadspace
That said it'd be slower than HL movment tech, it'd be different, which reminds me of my argument that the first person genere keeps evolving away from HL roots and making a sequel a harder sell
I can't imagine that it would be much of a problem considering Half Life is Half Life and it would probably still sell and generate a ton of hype anyways
But then again I really don't see the game ever being a thing because I just can't think of what Valve would even do with it
So I will never know
It would probably sell to some people, but it definitely runs the risk of removing the rose tinted glasses from many fans
And it's a risk they don't have to run, which is why we aren't seeing it IMO
It would sell to a lot of people, but I don't deny that if they were ballsy enough to maintain their style of doing things it would definitely make newer players feel weird playing it
Similarly to how Death Stranding.... exists, and even Kojima fans sometimes found it to be so weird despite being Kojima fans and despite the game being as successful as it was
I think also a lot of older players that have good memories of HL2, and in the meantime played modern games with modern systems, would suddently realise that they miss the modern changes to the genre
Not all of them, but not few of them either if I had to guess
I understand that, having been pretty huge on games like L4D2 but also other modern shooters like Apex
I still firmly have the opinion that the way those games do it is still good and I'd still like for it to stay that way but it's also true that newer players and even older players who are exposed to modern shooters would definitely find it weird because it's so radically different to what shooters are right now
Like, HL was always about innovating, if players play it and they find it old and stuck in its past ways, it's probably a negative for Valve
But if they modernise it, without bringing anything new to the table, it could very well fell generic
Which is probably worse
Rockstar really believes humanity will survive until 2025?
Well again I do firmly stand on my opinion that that design isn't really bad or even necessarily old, I mean you're talking to a person who won't shut up about wanting fixed camera angles and tank controls to come back for survival horror games, but I do understand what you're saying because I've played both types of games and I totally get it
Yeah I get what you mean
For me it's about getting used to different styles and I think that that variety is great to have, I don't think of it in terms of 'this game design is old and janky' necessarily, but I also realize that the way the masses react isn't the same
It would depend on the circumstances of development for HL3 a lot because if Valve isn't in a situation where they need to make it they can do whatever they want and they just don't care, but if they had to for whatever reason that's more complicated
I don't envision a future where Valve will go back to needing to make games again but I'm not an expert maybe some shit will happen and they'll lose a bunch of money
I don't even think it's old and janky, the style just changed overtime, and what the conventions are when a game comes out change the percpetion of it
No you're right, I was just saying it as an example but you're correct in saying that the way shooters do things has changed drastically towards one direction
It's the reason a lot of movies that are absolute classics, feel a bit basic if you watch them 20 years after they come out.
Other people had 20 years to riff on the concept and change it, and move it in different directions
Well that's a whole other can of worms because that involves a whole bunch of other stuff
I think it's similar but not exactly identical true.
I get it but if we're talking just movies in general it involves so many genres so many techniques that it'd be an entire essay to discuss it
Maybe if you narrowed it down to like, the horror genre of movies it'd be a closer example just because you'd be talking about how this one genre goes in this one direction over time
I mean games did suceed by removing certain modern elements instead of adding them before, it's not always about following the current trend.
Elden Ring is the biggest example that comes to mind on the spot, I think I've seen someone calling it "design by absence" or something like that
It's rare tho
Sure, I still have my fair share of criticisms towards the way Fromsoft designs its games and there for sure are some modern design elements that their games would do great to implement, but I still definitely appreciate how it goes in its own direction of doing things to the point where other games try to emulate it
I think the one good example of how Fromsoft games can be modernized is Lies of P, weirdly
IDK if I agree that Lies of P is a more modern Souls game
In what respects you mean?
I have the same opinion I have with survival horror I just really like it when games have variety and I don't like when games and mechanics become standardized or become the trend and games feel like they're the same, which is why I can sometimes be annoying about how much I insist on liking games that are different like with survival horror or now with Valve shooters like HL and L4D
I didn't watch all of it in its entirety and it's been a bit now but I remember hearing about how Lies of P has all these little qualit of life ish elements that aren't present at all in Fromsoft games but it still feels like you're playing a Fromsoft game and not just a copy
I can't think of anything too specific right now because it's just a bunch of little stuff that adds up and it's spread throughout the entire experience so it's hard to think of specific examples
IDK it's different and some of the changes are unique and give it its own identity.
I can't think of quality of life stuff that is in this one but not in ER or even DS3 tho
Compared to ER I would say that ER is more moden if nothing else because it's much more open and the lienar design of Lies of P or other souls games means that if you can't beat a boss, sucks sonny, keep trying to beat the boss, there isn't really anything else you can go doing.
But also, I wouldn't expect them to do an ER, it's basically in a different genre, so the more fair comparison is probably DS3
I don't really think that's a negative though, Dark Souls games are much of the same way and linearity isn't really inherently a problem especially when you can either just get gud through repetition and trial and error but also just farm to get stronger
It's a negative compared to ER IMO, because it's less accessible, and some DS are more open than others, but I agree it's in the ballpark of other fromsoft games
One specific thing I seem to remember from Lies of P is that it does a better job at telling you about quests, I remember that in Lies of P's bonfires you'd be able to see when certain characters in some areas have something to tell you or maybe have a new quest which is a small thing but it's the kind of thing that after playing so many Souls makes you say ''oh thank god''
lilke it's more lienar than all of them, but not wildly so
Okay yeah, extremely fair.
Tracking NPCs and when and where they have something new to tell you is tracked better
It's also probably a product of the fact that it's a lot more story driven, which I consider a sidegrade not necessarily an upgrade over Fromsoft style
I think I might prefer it personally, but I can see people liking From delivery better
I do think that ER2 should add a journal that records NPC dialogue tho
You can't expect me to remember what this dude told me 25 hours ago
It was fine when it wasn't an open world, now we need a reminder
It doesn't even need to be anything too in depth or specific but even just a basic transcript of a conversation or simply a an icon on a map or the bonfire where it tells you ''hey this character might wanna talk to you'' and nothing else wouldn't be anything that ruins it
Unfortunately Fromsoft fans would actually kill the devs if they added anything like that
I get it, immersion, realism, all that nice stuff, but when most players have to find out that certain characters even exist or how to properly actually finish a quest by reading it online years after playing the game it's not really great
GTA6 will not release on PC at launch. PC version comes later.
in ER if you see a NPC it puts it on the map, so there is something of the sort, it doesn't update it if he leaves unless you check and doesn't add it automatically in the new location, which I might be fine with.
Like if you are following the NPC story well, you usally have a pretty good idea when their story might progress next, but we do need the transcripts
Oh they are doing the GTA V double dipping
Shame on them
Grand Theft Auto 6 will be released in 2025 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, with Rockstar Games so far making no mention on whether the game will be available on PC. https://bit.ly/46L9kgL
a day-1 PC release would be a net negative for Rockstar, it's more cost without any financial benefit
No mention of a PC version at all, so yeah
Yep
It would get pirated immediately
In the millions
PS5 isn't crack-free anymore (older firmware) 🙂
Right, but still limited
though I doubt GTA VI would run on that old firmware, new games often have strict firmware requirements for this reasons
It’s the best bet for maximum profit
in Xbox land, the Xbox One is still crack-free (!), and of course the Xbox Series
I mean yeah, it's obvious why they do it, they are still assholes tho
The Nintendo Switch 2 may be a hard nut to crack too
I wonder if avoiding a PC release for fear of piracy and for maximizing sales is actually benefitial when you're essentially cutting off a massive portion of consumers early on in the game's lifespan
Unless it's just not ready for PC and that's why they're doing it
GTA is big enough that a lot of people will just buy it twice
It's what happened with 5
Sure I wouldn't really doubt that but it's still pretty important for the game to be available to as many people as possible when it launches
I mean it's gonna get pirated anyways when it eventually drops to PC right?
I can't imagine people who don't already own consoles will purchase one specifically only for GTA, at least not a significant amount
It's big enough that it'll probably happen
People buy consoles specifically for Call of Duty or Madden or FIFA
They’ll do it for GTA too
I mean, the hype is already this big and it's just a trailer
I bought an Xbox for Halo
I am lucky and really couldn't give less of a shit for GTA
I got 5 when EGS gave it away for free and played it like 5 hours
PC market is pretty large nowadays (and also the home of GTA RP) but let's be honest, a lot of people wouldn't buy the game
I am already mad enough when From pulls stunts with console exclusives
we'll also probably see people buy consoles only to play GTA VI, so I'm sure MS/Sony will be pleased 🙂
Luckily my liver don't have to live with a Rockstar fan
Mhmm, I really don’t care much about GTA
Will probably play it some at some point but I’m in no rush
will be funny to see GTA VI being more of a system seller than games like GT7 or perhaps even Spider-Man 2
me neither
I think I actually pirated it the first time around just to give it a go
I'm honestly unsure if I should get a Series X or PS5. PS5 has some nice exclusives but outside of that, that's it.
Series X can play my old Xbox titles, and connects to my old library. But on the other hand, I have to deal with Microsoft once more and I already hate their nonsense with ads.
I guess I may underestimate GTA fans and the hype for GTA then, I just am not under the impression that a significant portion will purchase GTA in other platforms that will make up for locking PC players out of it for who knows how long, but maybe it's because I just am not crazy about GTA in the first place
if you don't consider exclusives or online play, I would say both are roughly equivalent, the Xbox does some things better and the PS5 does other things better
we've never had a single generation where both consoles were equally as convincing as now, so be happy 🙂
Yeah but honestly I kinda want to sell my old Xbox titles and get a PS5.
PS giving you access to titles you couldn't play otherwise is what I would do, but I must admit, if I had to buy it to be a GTA machine and nothing else, maybe I'd go for Xbox for gamepass access
this is especially the case as the PS5 has improved a fair bit since launch (VRR, 1440p support, etc). It's mostly catchup with Xbox but it avoids having big sore spots in terms of what's supported
Well its not GTA that I want, its more about the overall longterm use.
on the other hand, don't look for gyro support on Xbox – there is none 😛
I'd go for PS if that was the case
Really? Even with the backwards compatibility?
Honestly I'd go for the next nintendo console if I had to buy any console
But that wouldn't have GTA probably
Yeah, it'd be PS4 power or Xbox One.
I hate what PS is doing with exclusives but also, they are pretty good games.
For backwards compatibility I'm pretty sure you could play most of those games on PC nowdays for peanuts, but I do have a PC to play them on
That is true.
Holy fuck the trailer is already at 10M views
Most of my old legacy games aren't that really rare.
This thing will get 100M eaaasy
At least for Xbox 360.
Huh, I dunno...
I do like the Series X when it comes to better power.
god consoles are such a pain sometimes

Gamepass is the biggest seller for Xbox, if you have a PC to use gamepass from, the PS I think makes most sense
I suppose.
Either that or you don't like subscription models, which is fair
Quick Resume is the amazing feature for Xbox.
13M
My gripe with Playstation 5 is that I don't have anything, literally making an account out of nothing. Xbox has my old account and stuff will transfer, well at least most of it. (Blame the PS3 being $599 way back then lmao)
Seeing those numbers going up is legit insane
I think I only ever seen something like that with the Endgame trailer
But considering how Microsoft burns me up like a factorio factory on a lava planet, eugh...
I changed my mind
this trailer will reach 100M in less than 24h
The record rn is by BTS I think
102 or 101 I need to check
101.1M
I do need to say tho, that trailer was pretty eh, nothing really memorable, not even the music
C’mon at least give us memes
Honestly, the fact that it was relatively serious trailer is the thing that surprised me the most
are you kidding there were a ton of memeworthy moments in the trailer
If that's how the game is, I might actually like it
GTA V humour turned me off pretty hard
Yeah I hate GTA’s type of humor
Is the GTA6 trailer really serious though?
Doesn't help that GTA V humour was all current year humour and I did try it like 6 years after it released
So it aged not super well
That's kind of on me tho
GTA III/VC humor has aged quite well in my experience, the radio stations are 10/10
Chatterbox FM 👀
:flutternod: Vice City is still great
Humour is subjective so I'm not saying it's bad, I'm really happy for you if you like it
I do am in love with the color scheme of the sunsets
That goes without saying
looks so gorgeous
Although given its Florida I might be pushed away from it again
But we’ll see
I guess I just don’t like the vibe that the GTA games give
I must admit that the modern "Bonnie and Clyde" thing they have going on for 6 looks more interesting to me than whatever they did in any of the previous chapters
RD2 has an amount of detail I never seen any game come close
As a non GTA fan
I legit cant wait for actual gameplay trailers
Just to see the details
Character interactions etc
The technical level this mf manage to reach
What I'm wondering is if Rockstar is going to actually change the way they design their missions and the game based on the shortcomings I heard RD2 had or if it's going to be much of the same
If they're going to go crazy with how much detail the world has I would expect that the same amount of attention would be put in letting the player do stuff in their own way and approach missions and the game itself from various angles rather than the weird blend of ''open world game with all these details but do the mission the exact way we want you to'' thing they've been doing
But I'm sure we all already saw that video at this point
Probably the same.
GTA VI has been in the works for years, so expecting a different system is unlikely.
I just watched the trailer, it does look better than the screenshots suggested
(something about things looking better in motion than stills :P)
It's not really about systems as much as it is about game design really, I don't see why the game having been in development for years would change that
my hopes for seeing more freedom in mission approach are pretty low unfortunately, it's not really compatible with modern AAA development
Systems is part of game design.
how could you say that about a Tom Petty song...
You need to build the system based on the game design you are going to do.
GTA III/VC almost bordered on immersive sim-like which I really enjoy, and later games started being more scripted with more mission failure points if you don't do things as intended
not saying is a bad song
Just didn’t hit hard like the cyberpunk music for example
Which is weird that they've already done it before but they haven't done it again
this takes place modern day right ?
It's not like they don't know how or can't
judging by the social media stuff yes
modern day but in Vice City
Holy fuck the E3 cyberpunk trailer is already 5yo

Game is way older than 5 years
This trailer is also gorgeous af
Also this shows how insanely big GTA is
The gta 6 trailer in just few min will pass the views of both of those trailers

I don't think many people truly comprehend just how big gta really is
and cyberpunk was hyped as fuck
i like Lucia
since 2009, the best selling game of each year has always been either cod or a rockstar game
i cant believe this is the first time they've done a fem protag
It is literally the second most sold game
Just behind the monster that is minecraft
Yeah exactly, which is insane
Minecraft 2 when
furthermore, the 3 out of the top 6 best selling games on the ps2 are gta games
gta 4 was the biggest entertainment launch in history at the time
and then gta v was
eh, not all generations, certainly not much before the sixth gen
GTA 1/2 had an alright but rough run, it was really GTA 3 that brought it into the limelight
reception to GTA 2 in particular was lukewarm, which is a bit strange because it aged a lot better than GTA 1 if you try to play it today
modern*
Like ps2+
actually modern is not even the right word, but yall get it
Atari 2600 players: Hold my pong.
People literally grew up, had children, and their children grew up with gta
It is a straight up multi generation thingy
I remember playing Vice City not because of Rockstar's shitty mission system that plagued old games, but for the Back to the future mod.
My condolences to absolutely any form of media that will come out same week as gta 6
Because will happen, someone will fuckup
Back to the Future mod ?
GTA Vice City with the Back to the Future Hill Valley MOD installed for PC.
whoa
The modding community for GTA was insane, and still is in some ways.
Unfortunately, that's changed for the worst by Take Two and Rockstar themselves.
that is so. cool.
heck yeah it is
you could probably get the hoverboard from Part II working in GTA too
bikes were one of the coolest additions to Vice City, it's also one of the top reasons to play Liberty City Stories
I still wait for the open conversion multi platform solution that isn't grove street's shitcanfest.
But I know it will take quite a lot of time, specially with the C&Ds.
reIII/reVC are still out there but were confirmed not to be developed anymore
Grove Street was responsible for the release of the 'remastered' versions.
oh !
It was hot garbage on every level.
i own those i havent played them yet though
they also remade the Ark Switch port, which was actually a decent effort (but still not great). It went from "terrible" to "meh, almost OK"
oh
I remember watching a streamer trying to play it, he tries to change the clothings, the game crashed
One person managed to find a bug by drinking hundreds of soda cans. This glitch exists in all versions though.

I mean, it has alligators just casually strolling into stores to grab a snack or two, I'm pretty sure everyone knew it was Florida.
also it's Vice City which is based on Miami
My guess is itll be like 5. Vice city will be the main locale. And whatever they call the outskirts will be the everglades essentially

"i played for 75 hours but i didnt like it" people are insane
eh, I get it
Well I mean, "I played this a lot but to be honest it sucks" is a real mood
I agree too
It makes sense for something like Starfield, there’s a lot of different things to do so it’s easy to move around and then upon reflection decide you didn’t like the game that much.
The last time we saw Vice City was back in 2006. It’s good to be coming back.
Sadly I don’t think many have known about GTA Vice City Stories.
We all make poor choices sometimes
I mean, I enjoyed Starfield. Was pretty much expecting Skyrim but in space, pretty much got that.
I think I'm too stupid for Starfield but I liked Skyrim a LOT
Don’t worry, Starfield is just Skyrim in space.
If you liked Skyrim you’ll probably like Starfield.
No it's not 😞😔

broooo i dropped $2000 on this game i barely know about!!!!!
the only way GTA 6 will be good is if it has the director mode like 5 had lol
whenever id play gta 5 thats all i would play in it
there's like, 1000 other things gta is known for outside of that but 🆗
The last GTA game I played was 3
im more hyped for the new rock band game than gta 6 lol
Leeeet's fuuucking goooo

#Shorts #Twitch #Streaming
so is Pirate Software a command or is it a software company called Pirate Software
It's his company I am pretty sure
Also yeah, that's pretty bloody rough
Especially if you have Twitch as your main income source
It's an interesting side effect
I mean, it is assuming you get equal subs on every day, but I guess you can't really give an accurate summary of that number without going by the average
so what i'm saying is, if you're going to get banned, do it after a subathon
It evens out because you are just as likely to be banned in day when you have more than average than you have less than average
(I think autorenews on subscriptions of any kind should be illegal but that's besides the point)
ayy you can now add vehicles and guns to your favourites, they let you change from imperial to metric system
and those weird stat tabs actually tell you what to do to level them up now too!
lots of nice little changes in this update
Very good adds
You can change the hud now, I disabled the lens distortion and the added effects of the HUD which adds some sort of bloom and slight blur like a CRT tv and now the HUD is much crisper and easier to read
Can make the fonts bigger if I need to too, can customize the subtitles options
YOOOOOOOO
For context, this is the first time in the story that you meet this character, but I've had them since the half-anniversary event over 6 months ago
and given the fact they're my second strongest character (and I'd honestly argue my outright strongest), i like them a tad
fuck you mean "our" record
I'm really really thinking of playing that I have the disc
His and his team??
Whoa wait hahahaha

Also fuck pre-orders
Only thing I pre-order is collectors editions because at least I can get fancy shit
even if the game sucks, I have my 19 inches of venom figure, like I did with spooderman 2
Tho the game is fucking amazing
Idk. Just what I've been seeing
I have no interest in GTA
Spooderman 2 is gud
yo cookout with the coolest detective in town let's go
this still one of the best marketing campaigns ever
Treat yourself to 19-inches of Venom and more with the Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Collector's Edition. #SpiderMan2PS5

I prob will re-play cyberpunk today
I wanna see the new updates

Something I don't think anyone noticed, but going to Rockstar's site after watching the trailer, scrolling gives you this info.
Leonida aka Florida
Yes we know its Florida, but never knew they called it Leonida.
cool name
I am curious about the world map size
if will be a whole fucking state
I will be surprised if is not
They are spending billions, with b, on this game
I want to go to a zoo and see the animals in there pooping and eating their own poop for realism
Making an entire state would be insane, because they'd have to fill all the things to do in every section.
But honestly, some parts of GTA V felt empty.
So I wonder how they gonna tackle that.

Agreed, sad times
A lot of people seem to hate River for some weird reason I think he's completely fine and I love the guy but I do kinda wish the game gave you a choice to reject him or set your boundaries straight before this moment because it's so incredibly awkward to reject someone after all this especially that scene at the dinner table
Rivers is great
Also looking up about River stuff I find it funny that so many players who actually went for his romance were players doing a gay male V and they all talk about how it was so awkward because male V just fucking grabs him by the neck and goes in for a kiss just like that and River pushes him off
it's so scuffed
Yeah they definitely fucked up a few times along the way with romance in general
My guess is. Miami/Vice city and then a everglades area
I went all in
I decided to romance everyone I could romance
Which is just Judy and him that ive found, tho I tried with the nomad lady.
I really like Panam and I wanted to go all in with her but she's not into fem V so I'm going with Judy instead
Yeah I figured that would have been the case
-Kermit the Frog from the Muppets is going to appear in Fortnite
-Fall Guys is gonna be coming to mobile devices
-An Xbox Live Arcade game that "made Nick cry" is getting a remaster```
HUH??????
I mean. Kermit wouldnt be that surprising
If they add Kermit to fortnite I will throw up
Best collab skin
I'm gonna remove my fortnite tattoo. I can't believe they would do this to Kermit. This is disgusting
...what's that supposed to mean
/s
😭😭😭
she's straight, thats fine
sucks a little because she was really nice but whatever
Oh you mean Panam
I do think having straight/gay characters is fine but it is a bit disappointing that you can't go for all romance options
It's a weird state of appreciating having it but at the same time being bummed out because I'm sure a lot of male V players would've liked to romance Judy/River and a lot of fem V players would've liked to romance Panam
Personally I wasn’t torn up about her being straight. Panam is kinda a dick.
Skyrim solved this issue by just making everyone bisexual 😎
Everyone’s bi, problem solved.
So I've had a chance to play Sonic Dream Team and uhh, its like a sandbox Sonic game. Where you run to the finish lap, and play the same map in different ways to achieve different goals by exploring the map. Then you get to play different play styles with Knuckles, Tails, Rouge, Cream, and Amy
Its kinda neat.
And there is a gem collector reminisant of SA1&2
I don't even think it's an issue really, it just kinda bums me out but I also think it's fine at the same time
I think it's okay, or even preferred to make characters have distinct sexual orientations, it makes them feel more like real people, but also they should probably make it so it's not the kiss moment, after like, an hour of romantic undertones, when you discover that
that sounds fun Deviant
i didnt say it was a problem
id've like to ahve that option but i an live without it
Yeah, pretty much
