a fiber optic HDMI cable between the TV and PC is also an option, but you also need a way to transmit USB (for a Bluetooth adapter) and that gets pricey quickly. It is however the highest quality and lowest-latency option, and one of the few that can do high refresh rates properly (because phones can almost never send more than 60 Hz…)

Update on Jedi Survivor, the last patch definitely improved on things, it was probably a 10~15 fps gain on average, especially in the large areas that were giving the most problems.
Still not well optimised and a shit port, but not borderline unplayable at least.

in Metroid Prime, the game just slowed to a crawl whenever I opened the map, but only when it was opened
in TP apparently the issue is that the farther you get into the game the larger Hyrule Field's minimap is, and that's why it gets worse later on

the development behind that is actually kinda funny
when it was originally released a few years ago (back when valve still cared about the health of TF2), Valve asked the mod dev team to remove the game from steam with the promise of having some sort of alternative. So the devs did and waited a few years, and emailed Valve a few years later with them asking if they could put it back or if they had that alternative they promised. As expected they didn't get a response back, so they just, added it back a few years ago, and Valve still hasn't done anything about it to this day

Basically at max you need to grind this wierd ectoplasm shit to enhance your max gearscore from there. There are lots of ways to potentially get it but all of them are heavy RNG, and you need a ton of the stuff. After the second consecutive four hour session where the rest of my group got several dozen and I got none, I just hard quit.

New World sucked at max level. It was really fun until then. I had an amazing guild, made tons of friends, really enjoyed it that aspect of it so I played a lot, but once I got to max level, it was boring as hell. Once I grinded to a huge bank account, I just lost all desire to play.
But, the graphics in new world were insanely good. It never stopped being a gorgeous game.
The other problem was we were the top dogs on our server, but they merged our server with another and gave them all our land. It was like a slap in the face for all the hard work we put into being #1.
