My dad took me to my first concert (Aaron Carter 😂 and I was like…way too young to have really been worth spending concert ticket money on but I do remember the concert surprisingly. I also remember people throwing t-shirts in the crowd and one landed in my row but to the left where no was sitting yet and I ran for it and this grown ass man started going over the rows of seats like an Olympic hurdler and then grabbed the t-shirt right as I got to it and then turned and started stepping over the seats to go back to his seat without even glancing at me. Core memory burned into my memory right then 😂) but I don’t think think he took me to another concert ever again. I was planning to have a friend come to GUTS with me but then she found out she was pregnant and now can’t come 🙃

Yeeeeeep, also last time I was in Charlotte my friend was trying to find parking and this cop pulled up beside us and motioned to roll down her window and when she did he started yelling at her which was super stressful and now I associate Charlotte with that memory 😅 And because of a crime fact I know about Charlotte.

Idk if 95 or I-40 is worse to me though. I-40 is awful.

You’re welcome! I just looked at the seating map. 201 is kind of higher-mid quality in my opinion. You’re going to have a straight on, but obviously slightly to the left instead of centered, view of the stage. However, you’ll be pretty far away.

Personally, I don’t think it’ll be too bad. You might have to look at the screens some if she has camera feed but you’ll be able to see without straining your neck too much. Also depends how good your eyesight is 😂 but you shouldn’t have problems hearing or anything and you’ll have a view of the full stage.

Personally, if you have the funds and there something particular you really want, I’d buy online. Spectrum is technically a no bag policy venue so I’m worried about testing my luck with a bag.

But I’ve also never tried to take a bag to a venue with a no bag policy. But people have told me they’re strict but it can also depends on the specific security guard you get

im a little late to answering, but in my experience with Spectrum Center, you can bring bags of a certain size!

im from charlotte!! depending on where you stay and if you have a car, i would recommend checking out the south end area. food and shops. you dont have to drink, but a lot of breweries hold events like bingo or trivia during the week!! i also love eating at optimist hall if you are near NODA or uptown. hope this helps!!!!!

If you’re 21+ Charlotte has a lot of breweries, and bars. But there’s also (depending on your interests), NASCAR Hall of Fame, Carowinds lol, Discovery Place, Mint Museum Uptown, Levine Museum of the New South, there’s a lot of food and shopping (near spectrum center there’s a “food hall” I’ve been to), Wing Haven, there’s a greenway, parks and old neighborhoods, McDowell Nature Center and Preserve, UNC-C botanical gardens, Reedy Creek Nature Center and Preserve, more museums lol
