Hi MonsterCat. Back then I did upload a post getting help for Copyright Claim thing I still got even though I had MonsterCat Gold subscription. It wasn't from MonsterCat but a company called Kobalt Music Publishing tho.
Many days ago I did dispute the claim and mentioned that I had MonsterCat Gold Subscription. They didn't respond for 24 days in total. And today they just rejected my dispute.
Should I appeal them or what should I do in this situation? I don't wanna pay just to share revenue to another company.
Thanks.

From what I'm seeing that version of the track isn't on Monstercat, so it doesn't seem like they're able to do much
Or at least it's not on the player
I'm seeing an extended mix and lofi mix, but not that version
You could email support I guess, but beyond that idk what you really can do
When I searched Nevada Sped Up it still lead to MonsterCat. That's just weird
My advice to you would be either to remove the track from your playlist or just stop paying for the license entirely if it's a routine issue. Personally, I'm not gonna defend this since I see a case like this pretty much weekly at this point
The fact it hasn't happened to me in like 5 years is honestly a miracle imo
I guess so
Need help about Copyright Claim (again)
the sped up version of Nevada is on streaming and released under Monstercat, alongside the extended and the sped down version
it was released sometime around last year iirc
@somber frost would probably be able to clarify the situation
the copyright on spotify says monstercat
it all has the same branding
as any other sped up version that was released under MC
Ye I clarified that it wasn't on the player after checking Spotify. I'm not sure why that's the case but it seems to be that way
I find it odd since Walk Thru Fire's sped up is on the player
oh mb
@lapis saffronHeya! Sorry for the delay here. Would you be able to send your channel? We'll remove the claims ASAP
Sure then.
sent off to our team, should be removed asap, sorry for the delay!
Okay. Thanks for helping. I really love Nevada and I don't wanna change the song 😭
@lapis saffron hi this looks to be a Kobalt claim as opposed to Monstercat. We're trying to resolve this on their side asap
Yeah that's what I'm worried tho. It's not from MonsterCat but from another company
Hi Nins. How is this problem going? It's been 4 days tho and I am still kinda worried about I have to change the song.
Hi! We've asked Kobalt to remove the claim, hopefully they will be doing so asap!
Thanks. I hope to hear good news from you two!
Hi there, i'm dealing with a similar issue on my channel where Kobalt has also claimed my video with the same track (Nevada). I currently have a Monstercat Gold subscription as well, https://youtu.be/th252sKyFNU, would it be possible to please get the claim removed?
Remember the golden age of Android, when CyanogenMod was seen as one of the most popular custom ROMs? In this video you will see a throwback as we go back to this iconic era!
The smartphone used in this video is a Samsung Galaxy S5 and the CyanogenMod version is 12.1 (aka Android 5.1).
