In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:
- Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.
- Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware).
- Details about your storage (filesystems, type of disks, output of commands like
fdisk -landdf -h). - The version of the Immich server, mobile app, and other relevant pieces.
- Any other information that you think might be relevant.
Please paste files and logs with proper code formatting, and especially avoid blurry screenshots.
Without the right information we can't work out what the problem is. Help us help you ;)
If this ticket can be closed you can use the /close command, and re-open it later if needed.
Are you using tailscale for access? The IP looks like it
Yes.
I'm puzzled, because it works and uploaded 3 videos.
Then for some reason I'm getting these logs about connection issues.
So it's not like the tailscale isn't working at all.
At least I wouldn't guess that, based on the fact it seems to have worked.
Many are using tailscale, so that itself should not be the problem but might play a part in it, not sure
Are you able to test locally without tailscale?
I don't know how I would because I entered my tailscale IP as the immich server on the mobile app.
Maybe that's the problem. Idk.
It's not possible to just change the URL, you would need to logout/login to change it. That way we could at least test if the Immich server itself handles the upload fine or not
so I just uploaded another video and it worked fine.
I feel immich just failed because I tried to upload like 5 videos at same time.
Is there a visible difference between them, file size for example?
214.6 in my photos section.
in the on my device section it won't say the size.
pretty annoying.
under info it just says "2160x3840"
so inside my iphone it is 225MB
on immich server it is 214.6
MiB
which is same I think
Generally the app/server should handle multiple connections easily, automatic backup would do 3 simultaneous transfers as well. But maybe something causes some instability there, could be tailscale could be the wifi dropping out for a split second on larger transfers
yep
Ya, I would just hope it wouldn't cause errors like that and would just pause tho.
If it got hung up.
We have a WIP feature to allow for uploads to be resumed, but it's not ready for release yet
I'll look forward to that.
So i just deleted the 4 videos i had uplaoded.
Got this error.
That could be a bug, let me check
to be clear i moved them to trash on server.
