#backup stopped working because of other user's files?!

so I noticed that about a week ago my Immich mobile backup stopped working and there are no details. When I opened logs it says something totally weird, because there is a name of some video which is not mine but it's of my friend who is using my Immich server! He has no problem and several other users also don't have a problem and it's only me that my phone cannot backup because of this! He tried deleting and re-uploading that one video file and weirdly that caused the error message on my side to change and show another filename

there does not seem to be any messages in the docker container log when this backup is failing. I see only client side errors

So this is a mystery which nobody has a clue about? ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Let's say it's not supposed to happen and this is the first time I hear about this issue. The error also indicates both checksum and owner id being used for the unique constraint.

Seems easy enough to reproduce though, grab a file on 2 phones and try to upload it ๐Ÿ‘€

@late prairie can you help taking a look?

Sounds to me like something that would've been handled by local DB pruning to me

#

But also, the pruning we have might not be sufficient to handle this completely monkaHmm

Would be great if you could share the entire stack trace

yes these files are in some album that person shared with me

Thanks! That might be it. We'll address this soon, but sadly, you might have to log out and log back in to fix this for now.
