#Can't see faces in explore while face recognition is turned on

As the title says. Enabled face recognition. Immich had plowed through the whole external library to create thumbnails, extract metadata, face detection, facial recognition etc etc.
But the option for faces isn't there under explore. The only thing i see is places.

Then either your facial recognition job is still running or your machine learning is broken

i guess the second? Because the facial recognition did run and is done

Those had numbers in it when they ran.

i see it failed to download something. Could that be the cause?
Ive only set the immich server enabled in my firewall rules.

I changed the firewall to the ip range the immich containers use and pressed on refresh at face detection

#

Facial recognition also automatically started again.

Yep let it finish. It might wait for the clustering into people until all faces are detected so be patient 🙂
