In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:
- Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.
- Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware).
- Details about your storage (filesystems, type of disks, output of commands like
fdisk -landdf -h). - The version of the Immich server, mobile app, and other relevant pieces.
- Any other information that you think might be relevant.
Please paste files and logs with proper code formatting, and especially avoid blurry screenshots.

Do you mean public shared album?
Hi @crude cedar, so in Albums > (+) Create Album > "Share" button > "Comments & likes - Let others respond" (it's toggled ON by default)
I've tried playing around with the "Show metadata", "Allow public user to download", "Allow public user to upload" toggles present in the "Create link to share" menu, just to see if I had any luck.
As a registered user I'm able to add a description to a photo. Not sure if that's the same as comments, but I guess not 🤔
For Shared Link, public usres cannot comment on the photos because they don't have the account on your instance for the comment to bind to
I see, so there's currently no way to allow public users to comment or add a description even to the content they upload?
Yea, that is correct, as we don’t have a way to identify public users
