#Immich Ownership Transfer: Any Updates or Workarounds?

Hi everyone,
I really enjoy using Immich, it’s running smoothly and works great overall. However, I’m missing a crucial feature: the ability to transfer ownership of photos or albums to another user. This has become a high priority for me, as there’s currently no option to change ownership without re-uploading under another account. Does anyone know if there’s progress on this feature? What’s the current status? Any updates or workarounds would be appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks for the update. It’s disappointing to hear there’s no progress on this feature, it’d be a game-changer for many users. Are there any plans to tackle it soon, or is it not prioritized right now? Maybe there’s a way for the community to help push it forward? Would love to hear more!
