Anyone got a clue?

Exactly what the logs say, it doesn't have permissions to write to the mounts

I’m new to truenas and somewhat now about Linux

Fix the permissions, no idea how you do that on truenas tho

# midnight isle Yeah that’s what I have to figure out now 😭

Maybe you found the answer
You probably have a dataset for Storage and one for the Database storage
As it is a fresh install, the easiest would be to recreate the dataset, and selecting the Dataset Preset "Apps" instead of "Generic" this will automagically give the permissions to modify to the apps user (which is the one used by Immich by default)

I changed the owner to apps

Hi, am also stuck. I am following the instructions here. https://immich.app/docs/install/truenas.

I says to setup seven data sets and set the owner to root (except for pgData). Further down, under storage configuration it says to setup the host path for all seven data sets. But under my app configuration I see options for only two (one for Data Storage (aka Upload Location), one for machine learning cache and one for postgres Data Storage.

Do I need seven datasets or only two? I've tried to set ownship to apps but it still won't deploy.

Hang on.. its running. I've used only the two datasets.. storage and pgdata set ownship of both, together with is parent to apps.
