In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:

  • Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
  • Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
  • All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
  • Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.
  • Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware).
  • Details about your storage (filesystems, type of disks, output of commands like fdisk -l and df -h).
  • The version of the Immich server, mobile app, and other relevant pieces.
  • Any other information that you think might be relevant.

Please paste files and logs with proper code formatting, and especially avoid blurry screenshots.

i stacked like 2k photos and it didn't look like that, it was a single scrollable line on the bottom, not a grid

no idea if they changed that with the new update, that was like a month ago

anyway, stacking so many photos I don't think is the intended usage, it's meant for a few similar photos, you're using it basically as an album replacement, which I agree would be a really useful feature to group photos in the main timeline...

but it needs to be a separate feature, like a collapsable folder you can choose to expand directly on the timeline

Tested, and can confirm this is a bug. I agree, not really the intended use of stacks, but at the same time, they shouldn't display like this when too many assets are stacked.

It is technically scrollable, but it's not going the image currently lol.
If you can submit an issue on Github to log this that'd be good.

Why should it be a separate feature? I would just improve on stacks to be more versatile overall.
Make it more album like, that doesnt hurt for its intended purpose anyways
