Hey all, im new to Immich and homelabbing in general. I am trying to install immich by the helm chart and I see the integrated Postgresql in the helm chart is deprecated, now im trying to install a postgress from bitnami but i keep getting the error that im missing some extentions. I tried looking online for a solution but so far no succes, maybe somebody here has some experience on setting it up with helm and can tell me what im doing wrong.

If you're new to homelabbing, are you sure you want to run kubernetes?

halcyon skiff
#

Because im learning to work with it, because im also working with openshift at my job. The reason i picked k8 is because i wanted to get more comfortable with it

I got allot of stuff working, its just the helm chart i found of postgresql is without the nesseary extention. i keep getting:

The pgvecto.rs extension is not available in this Postgres instance.

#

and i use the helm chart from the documentation

#
helm upgrade --install immich immich/immich \
  --namespace immich --create-namespace \
  -f immich-values.yaml
#

all im missing is the postgresql with the right extention

#

Why the old tag?

halcyon skiff
#

i think you reffer to the postgresql.enabled: false?

#

i mean the point here is I kinda need help on getting a required postgresql server on my k8 running.

#

i might be missing still some configuration, but i wanted to get it up first and go on from there
