#excluding files from external library

I am trying to exclude raw files with this exclusion pattern "/*.CR3" and anything in a folder named RAW "/RAW/**". I rescanned the library and my RAW files are still in the Gallery.

**/RAW/** and **/*.CR3 should cover this, I can't really tell if this is what you're using because of the caps?

I tried rescanning and I am still seeing my CR3s in my photos. These are my filters now

Its also not finding my new photos that I added to the external library now too
