#Backups folder empty

As far as i can see in the docs, no manual setup for backups is needed and I've checked, backup is on and configured to do it at 2am every day. Immich has now been running for ~a week, but my immich-app/library/backups is still completely empty. Does anyone know why? Thanks.

I don't understand how postgres can backup to the uploads/backup folder (which is mounted on the immich container) if it isn't mounted on a volume on the postgres container? Mine is empty as well. But I haven't looked into it deeply nor looked at the logs. But it would seem that folder would always been empty.

Who said it's the postgres container doing the writing? 🙂

So running the backup script provided that runs on postgres container actually runs on the immich container?

docker exec -t immich_postgres pg_dumpall --clean --if-exists --username=postgres | gzip > "/path/to/backup/dump.sql.gz"

I don't know how this stuff works. I'm totally and utter stupid. I just want to know what I need to do to get automatic and manual backups to work.

No that's the restore part
