Hi everyone,
It could be interesting to add people description like album description.
Sometimes I don't know who is the person or the link with my family and I find it useful to add description field in people’s profiles to write some explanation.

essentially you're asking for people to become contacts that could be synced with your contact list (.vcf)?

I think they’re just asking for a “description” optional field attached to a person, like assets currently have

I see that, I just slowly see more and more fields being asked for over time

I mean i dont see that as a blocking issue. We can always make it an optional like tags or folders

I think one of the great things about immich is the flexibility to not be stuck to how the big corp wants you to use your photos

My bad. I just figured implementing a vcf would be a complete set around a person already, and be something that you could sync in/possibly out, rather than making it an immich only dataset

I mean I guess it *would but it feels like overkill haha
