I have trouble getting a certificate for https and ssl to my pi, where the port to immich is connected. currently its open to public with http but i dont feel like thats a secure way to do it.
either i would like help to set up a way for https, i tried with ngnix but with no luck, came from letsencrypts help forum, they felt like this was a problem on immich side.
another alternative is that when using the dns, its view only after the login, so an intruder cant do more then view my beautiful photos.

Immich doesn't handle hostnames or HTTPS, so it's almost certainly not an Immich issue
That said, if you can provide more information about what you're up to we're happy to have a look
For the record you will need to use something like nginx, caddy. Immich doesn’t support HTTPS itself so you need a reverse proxy
I kept balling with the guys from letsencrypt, and i think we are making progress there so ill close it for now
