Help moving from Linux to MacOS

Hello, I’m trying to understand if I need to do anything different to move immich from Debian 12 to MacOS 15.

I took a DB backup. Does it matter if the actual directory of upload_location changes? I can move all the files from old location to new. Will restoring DB be sufficient?

Also, I took the backup on release 117, does it matter if restore is on release 118. There are breaking changes, but I believe they are on the web server not DB.
