#Does rerunning facial recognition improve matches to already named people?

I have run facial detection/recognition for all faces and then I started naming those identified people. I have noticed some false positives though. Now that I have named some people, will rerunning facial recognition improve the matching so that it cleans up some false positives or is there no benefit if the settings haven't been changed?
