Is there a way to make a setup that only handles the upload from iOS and placing the images in the right folder (for me YEAR-MONTH).
So no need for the album, facial recognition or machine learning needed.
ATM I use elodie to organize my images after manually importing from phone to Mac.

You can turn off face recognition and ML

#

Other than that... Just don't use the features you don't need?

Yeah turn off album sync in the immich ios app, and turn off ML in the immich web app. 🙂

Okay. So I have to install it all but turning the features off will free memory and cpu use?

Once you turn off the ML features you can turn off the ML container too
