The foreground backup won't continue if you exit the app, this is working as expected
That makes a lot of sense, i was thinking more so that the application will continue to backup in the background if I meet the charging/WiFi criteria even after leaving the app.
The background backup is currently entirely separate. We do want to try to unify them in the future
Cool, I'll monitor the background update separately then because the backup was flawless before but i'm running into some hitches recently. I'll close this. Thank you.
Hi @viral turtle
Has your video been uploaded correctly?
I'm facing the same behavior as you, but the video doesn't upload in the background. My video has about 5gb 😀
A 5 GB file will never upload on the background, especially for IOS
The tasks get killed in 10-15seconds
It's an Android
I waited until it finishes, but when I change to another app or lockscreen and get back to Immich, the same video appears to being uploading again
Are you using CloudFlare or reverse proxy?
Cloudflare...let me try using local IP and I'll get back here
If you’re using cloudflare tunnel or proxy. That’s the reason. Max 100MB
