Hm. I cant recall. I know you can extract them and run it on the combined folder, is that an option?
can i use takeout*.zip?

I don't know if this was fixed but yeah, you can use immich-go for this as I did the same.
Yes. Just put the executable on the same folder where all your takeout files are and run this for a dry run
immich-go -server=http://SERVER_IP:PORT -key=APIKEY upload -dry-run -create-albums -google-photos takeout-*.zip
