Currently, if we want to share a picture from Immich from web, we need to download it and then share it from the local archive.
It has been a common practice in the last years to "copy and paste" images, and it would be awesome to be able to do so directly from Immich.

You're definitely right. I was searching from the wrong icon.

But, it doesn't seem to work: The request is not allowed by the user agent or the platform in the current context, possibly because the user denied permission

Access to your clipboard requires a "secure context". It is required by the browser. That essentially means use localhost, 127.0.0.1 or https

If you are using an ip and it isn't localhost then basically we can't modify your clipboard

Maybe test it on another browser. It might not be worth in safari. I haven't looked at this in along time

Using firefox, the icon doesn't even appear

IIRC, you need to enable an option in the about:config
