Hello, do you have storage template enabled?

lavish fulcrum
#

the upload folder also store the interuppted upload, if you have background upload enable, something the video might not finished uploaded and get killed by the OS

ah then it makes sense, it is disabled so all of the asset will stay in the upload folder

thorn magnet
#

but if i enable it now I would need to reproccess the images again right?

lavish fulcrum
thorn magnet
#

so what would happen to the upload folder then?

lavish fulcrum
#

the old assets that were uploaded when the storage template disabled will stay there

#

the new assets will arrive there first and then get moved to the respective template

thorn magnet
#

so how will i be able to clear the current assets which already exist in the library?

lavish fulcrum
#

there shouldn't be any duplicated

thorn magnet
#

No, it definitely is as I have assets which are same in both the library and upload folder

lavish fulcrum
#

can you check the hash of the assets that you think are duplicated to see if they are the same?

thorn magnet
#

yeah

#

right now my docker is just shutting down on starting ahh

thorn magnet
#

@lavish fulcrum how do I set up my storage template to avoid filling up the upload folder?

It should be moved automatically when you enable the storage template

thorn magnet
#

@lavish fulcrum does it go to 0 or is there always some data in it

#

definitely reduced though thanks for that

I think there’s a bug where it won’t migrate archived assets

#

We need to add withArchived: true to the query

#

Maybe withDeleted too? Not sure

What about duplicates within the library folder itself?
