does it means, it still download photos from iCloud?
Logs
So, I still have all my iCloud photos which is my primary data location. Immich is secondary in the sense since its still alpha/beta. With that in mind, I opted to enable the Ignore iCloud Photos which its not honoring.
the ignore iCloud Photos is for new photos that has not been upload to Immich, it doesn't applied to the uploaded one
I have been taking new photos daily while on vacation and that hasn't been the case for newly taken photos
And those photos are now in iCloud?
Yes, they were in icloud as soon as I snapped the photo since I was on wifi when the picture(s) were taken
and when you run upload, does it show the progress bar of downloading the asset from iCloud?
No I don't see that
They will be on iCloud and also stored locally I expect, I don't think the iPhone offloads them instantly
The ignore iCloud option doesn't ignore assets that are in iCloud AND on the phone, only assets that are only in iCloud
