#How to change the location of default library

couldnt find anything on this in the docs, changing the first library in the docker-compose.yml didnt seem to do anything, so i reverted that change

All you will need to do is move the files to the new location and change the UPLOAD_LOCATION. It's just a docker bind mount.

i tried changing it in example.env but that didnt do anything

There should be no example.env.
You should rename it to .env
