This is a fully fresh install with no data, right? If so try stopping the stack and clearing the database volume (docker compose down -v) and then starting it up again
not sure how to do that since im using portainer, do i just delete volume

You probably change the password after the instance is up so that is the reason of the mshg
how can that be if i literally just started it on docker for first time
like, copy paste compose and env > deploy > check immich_server logs > invalid password for user postgres
