I'm using docker on Ubuntu, I bulk uploaded my entire library. Everything seems to have uploaded, however at least for video several of them I cannot find in immich. If I navigate to the path where everything is uploaded I do see them there with the correct size. If I try to repload one it skips because its duplicate. But I cannot for the life of me find it in the library on the website. Video and picture totals seem accurate when I look at the "server settings".

If I go to explore / videos, only seeing about 10% of my videos. I much be doing something wrong here.

If you've just finished uploading everything it is very likely that your assets still haven't processed completely.

You can check this in the Adminstration settings -> Jobs

its a very large library because I decided to finally get it under control and start weeding out duplicates, etc. So some things definitely took awhile to show up. It's been just under 2 days now, so I'm sure it could be that. However, when I go to Administration settings -> Jobs, everything just says active 0 / waiting 0 . I didnt really touch any of the encoding and I dont really want to transcode any of the videos, maybe that's the issue?

You didn't touch the encoding settings but don't want to transcode video? Transcoding videos happens by default to ensure compatibility

Ah I see. Then it is very likely that you won't be able to view your videos on all devices. However, this shouldn't affect that videos don't show up in the timeline in the first place.

yeah and I just now turned it off, because of the info you provided 🙂 so it was not that way before

almost all the videos are in MP4 from phones, so i'm not terribly worried about compatability

What do the logs say? Specifically immich_server and immich_microservices

hard to say now that i kicked off the sidecar job 🙂 their are now jobs active and waiting for that, I think I will wait for that to complete and move forward. I've not tried rerunning any of these.
