But I am unsure how to set up Immich on Unraid to use Nvidia graphics. I have my Plex running with Nvidia Hardware acceleration. Any documentation on how this can be achieved?
Currently, FFmpeg transcoding is overwhelming on my 8-core CPU

I have it installed on unraid. Could hardware transcoding also work if I put the same variables I used in my plex container for hardware transcoding?
That would be:
Create a variable: NVIDIA_DRIVER_CAPABILITIES and set it to "all"
+
"NVIDIA_VISIBLE_DEVICES" And set it to the GPU-id
+
add the extra "--runtime=nvidia"

It does look like it's doing something! My CPU is however also at 99%, but it's still sorting out through all my photos and tagging everything.

Nice! The decoding and tone-mapping is done on CPU so it'll still give it an exercise, but if you set the acceleration api to nvenc in the settings and there are no errors in the logs, it's definitely using it

installing immich in portainer using Portainer's Stack feature. How should I enable the hw accel, if I edit the env file and delete # with nvenc accel, I got error syntax. How should I do better? hwaccel file I have beside the yml file in ubuntu, but thinkin if I make the immich ready by inserting in portainer stack it cant get that file. Please advice, nvidia driver andtoolkit installed and in the system
