So I'm new to this immich after hearing about that is a clean and simliar alternative to google photos and I've been able to setup a immich server through docker desktop and I've even been able to upload a 100+ photos already using the CLI process. However, when trying to access my immich server from a different device like the mobile app I get an error of "Socket operation failed: POST /oauth/config" with the url that I have inputed as the "http://server ip address:2283/api" any help would be great

nevermind I was able to resolve the problem by going into my server and seeing that my network setting was set to private instead of public

and in windows if you go to your network settings you can change it from private to public

I guess one thing to note is that whenever you connect to your immich server from another machine in a lan use the private ip address of the machine in which immich is hosted on followed by :2283

I think i'm doing that. But since I'm not tech savy, let me confirm that its the same ip when I do ipconfig on command prompt?

yeah it should be the ip that you see in ipconfig
