Well well well, what's this
the latest airline tech
is this a joke
we still rocking the gds 🔥🔥🔥
jkjk I’m trolling
Lol
you would be terrified to hear how ancient and held together with just enough hopes and prayers to pass FAA/CAA inspection some of those "modern" aircraft are
Wonder if i still have the pics from my last jet work
Tbf the space shuttle had a Fly-By-Wire system with less power than the phone I use to watch funny reddit videos
cough boeing nearly killing 20 military jets because they didn't do FOD control cough
Uhh which ones? I know about boeings civvie fuckups but not that
Uh it i remember right it was new F-22s
Basically Boeing hadn't checked them fully and the military found loose nuts and bolts freely inside the fuel tanks.
They sent every single one back and demanded a full inspection and not a single more till all of em passed the military's final inspections.
Boeing has been shitty for like a decade on QA
There's whole documentaries about it
Boeing's been going downhill since they bought out McDonnell Douglas and got their braindead MBA executive ghouls
Mhm
But Yea
Thankfully General Aviation tech is pretty up to date
Oshkosh 2019 i was at there was a booth for open source off the shelf consumer electronics for avionics systems
huh. neat
https://makerplane.org/ found it
now that's really cool.
