#Looking for a new pair of headphones

alright I'll check them out, ty
very accurate
there's 3 variants with 32, 80, 250 Ohm
32 Ohm is easy to drive with a phone, 80 Ohm might be hard with a phone but okay with a motherboard, but 250 Ohm you really want a headphone amplifier
so I'd say for phone usage go with 32 Ohm for PC usage go with 80 Ohm
after a quick search that does seem like pretty much exactly what I'm looking for
I think I'm mostly gonna be using them with my pc, I plan to get an external DAC and amp someday but not right now
i have the 80 ohms and i love them
yeah 80 ohm looks like the best compromise for what I'm gonna do
though they're a bit flat, no V or anything
cos listening to stuff on my phone is also useful
will likely sound much more enjoyable with a decent bass and treble boost
interesting, I know nothing about that kind of thing but I assume it can be done in software?
i highly recommend against anything gaming branded, it generally costs more for less quality
heard these are good
Austrian Audio is all made of ex-AKG workers after Samsung baught up the name and fired all the engineers
And Meze Audio is a romanian local business
btw how much do these block outside sounds? cos I find it kinda hard to talk if I can't hear myself at all yk
and I'm quite often wearing headphones in a discord call or something
they're not the most isolating headphones I've ever worn. but are you sure you want clsoedbacks? openbacks are much better for that
personally i use zero latency monitoring to hear myself talk
the problem is that I want to be able to use them in public as well so I don't want them to leak so much sound out yk
as long as they aren't completely isolating it's fine tho
I still have the recommendations laund gave for 20€ and 50€ headphones saved
Some day, I'll get one of them
I like the HyperX Cloud Alpha S headphones. I've used them for a while and they've been comfortable wand good (at least for gaming and general use. These are probably not for audiophiles) https://hyperx.com/products/hyperx-cloud-alpha-s?variant=41031691206813
this isn't a recommendation, but out of curiosity, why prefer wired? personally I would avoid wired ones, I like not having to care about the wire in terms of both convenience and durability. And can walk around freely with the headphones on
not having to charge maybe
wired also has loads of advantages, like never worrying about batteries, better quality, and easier to take to other devices
oh and delay as well I guess, I use the wire that came with my headphones when I want to make sure music syncs with game
specifically most concerned in this celeste map with music as precise sound cues https://youtu.be/qA3BpACmpMU
a good wire won't break easily (i cant tell how many times i rolled over the DT770 pro wire with the chair) and it can be long enough i can walk to the other end of the room
Not having to pair devices my beloved
