yeah thats something i really want to fix but without looking at other peoples mods; its proving to not be super simple for me lol

Far easier to have presets for COM instead of trying to tune raw values
while i plan on adding more raw tuning in the form of 'advanced tuning' i really want this to feel more like youre upgrading your sled and not just adjusting numbers/data
sorry to bother im just really not good with computers and i was wondering how id go about installing this? is it like the wraps download the zip and put it in the exe. or is it different
Is there a button to close the UI, f4 just switches between menu and diag
yo could you add like a 600cc option and just a N/A 850cc so we dont need to ride with the turbo power al the time? And if there is a option for weight could we like get that as an option to change that aswell?

Okey this one might be impossible but is there an option for changing actual snow depth like where we get stuck is there something that can lower that so its actually deep, cause now its just soft snow and not deep?

Answer: I can add them yes but i would need to use specific engine values that i cannot guess on. It will take time but is not impossible or unlikely.
Question: Weight Modifications
Answer: As I have said earlier i want this to feel more like upgrades than spreadsheet adjustments: I will try to think of how to incorporate weight savings/additions. This would likely be in the form of "upgrade parts" such as implementing weight changes when swapping the tracks and other future parts
Question: Changing the depth of snow
Answer: Out of spec for the mod even if feasible; this is a tuning/modding mod, not a full system
Conflict with another mod so an actual close button would be helpful

Known Bug: Engine Swaps applies the tuned engine-not the original; this can result in extremely overpowered sleds
could you remove this so its not on the screen 24/7?
make it so if you hover above it, it will apear adn dissaperar after a couple of secods
i dont know why but it wont change how the sled works like speed and hp

i chose to keep a alpha of 10% to make sure people still see it; i hope that is sufficient 🙂

Please make sure you are using the latest version
- you dont need to pause the game anymore; theres a cursor built into the mod menu now 🙂
- Please enable auto mode then select reload sled
side note: you can move the menu by dragging the top of the window

id like to point out that reloading the sled is on-the-spot when in multiplayer but it waits till youre not paused when in solo
I reccomend not pausing the game at all when tuning the sled

i mean dont make it dissapere completely but make it mot transparent
add a drop down menu for all the different options instead of having to click next on all of them if possible
Just wanted to give an update, I have the dropdowns working and everything but it is proving to be pretty confusing for me on how to get the drop-downs to close when you click outside of it. meaning you have to select a part for you to interact with the menu at all — even closing the menu.
This is obviously not desired so I'll continue working on it but I just wanted to take a little break and update you and others so you can rest assured I am doing my best to implement the requested features in a timely manner.

I managed to get the drop downs to draw properly but cannot for the life of me — manage to get click-away to function: you must select an option when you open a drop down.
long story short: not yet; not one im happy with
thats what i have now and im not really all that happy with it
i can release it though i guess
i have updated the github with a new release for today
Please let me know of any changes anyone would like seen made to the core menu or the dropdown lists themselves; i want to finalize the GUI so i never have to adjust it again lol
How do you close the menu now?
Top left of the screen. The icon is faded out when not hovered
Current version working mint. Saving my last known setup is awesome when changing maps or fresh session. Also not having to retune on fast travel is great

It’s mine and i dont take any vrist for it, just happened to have the file and the original creator left the server, and it’s a great mod imo

a little PSA:
This mod has been fully functional through every single update released by the Sledders team.
If you are having issue with the program not running properly, please ensure your setup is not to blame before contacting me.
To be clear:
This mod should never cause issues and it should be plug and play regardless of which Sledders version youre loading
While i cannot gurantee anything beyond what I myself have tested; this mod comes with the standard "Trust me Bro" assurance that if something is wrong; I will do my best to correct it
It’s almost as if I say that in my post about my mod… Unless you use the compatibility mod that other folks have made. I can almost guarantee that these mods would fight over what values should be applied too, they do very similar things.
I used the comparability mod… every other mod works with it but it won’t run the alpine off the compatability mod, I have no problems using either separately but just thought I’d give the other guy having problems some insight cause mine didn’t work when I installed.
Yeah, most likely because we are both trying to modify the same fields in the game.
ive never tried out bepinx, thats what youre using and the need for compat mod eh?
have you ever tried to co-load the mods? i pre-cache everything on startup so idk if theres a way we can make co-loading 'a sure thing' or not but it might be of our interest

I pre cache things too. I much prefer bepinex as it can do more things than melon loader but is maybe a bit more ambiguous. I don’t think the co-loading would really work, unless we disable one persons mod or the other when loading but then what is the point of having both lol.
