what do the side grip and rolling grip do? ive seen the others a thousand times but not those.

It has to do with the new snow physics and specifically the bottom layer of snow. I personally leave them at the default values but in past updates I would change them a bit. Basically, the higher the value the harder it is to get stuck. You are only able to find those values in unity explorer by searching them. They are not under any drop downs

any chance you can add the values for the "clutching" like there is in unity explorer? i dont remember what the values are called but they adjust the RPM and engagement RPM

I could, but don't really see any benefit to adding them as they don't really change how the snowmobile works except for it taking longer to engage the clutch.

I could maybe see if I could make the max RPM increase past 8500, but I am betting it would break the sound in the game.

not that it takes longer for the clutch to engage, but it does make it engage more aggressively and the sled revving higher also gave it more top end power for some reason

if its not something youre wanting to do its all good, the mod works great either way

Works great, I prefer this over all the other mods because of the ability to save configs. Something I'd like to see added though is SnowmobileControllerBase.skisMaxAngle. Default of 45, but I like putting mine up to 60, gives a more immediate response to turning and lets you lean the sled over more. I'd say you could do a max of 60 or 70, and a min of 30 for a more stable feel, especially for those drag sleds.

no, the instructions are at the top of the post and are simple enough. You extract the file and you drag and drop it into your sledders directory.

Mod still works exactly how it is supposed to. The only thing that "broke" was the mass field. The value is still updating but is not being applied to the physics simulation. However, flat out saying the mod is broken is incorrect... Please learn how to read, follow instructions, and how to write grammatically literate sentences :). Thanks for the help pookie 😘

Might be old but it still works exactly as it should :). If you really want a mod menu/tweak so bad you should invest some time to learn C# and modding with Melon Loader or BepInEx. We need more modders pookie bear

This mod is by far my favorite mod menu. took me a minute to figure out where to put it but once i realized i felt like an idiot. question though, do you think you could post a pic of the menu that shows the purpose of all of the controls, cause im still a bit confused about what all of them do.

Yeah, I could probably do that at some point. I may update the mod soon, been busy with work so havent wanted to touch it lately lol. I might make it so the menu has tooltips/descriptions when you hover over the field

Yes it works fine with mod.io. The problem is you have melon loader and my mod installed at the same time. You would need to uninstall melon loader. Then reinstall my mod

You need to use the installer and remove melon loader that way. You could also delete the version.dll file.

i love the mod its just whenever i click apply on anysled it just sleems to lack everything that it normally should and not knowing what the normal depth of snow is and all that makes it just a little bit worse

Normal snow depth is about 6 feet. Tune the sleds to your liking, I just have some basic tunes in there.

That’s right, I was thinking default was 2 meters which is about 6 feet. But yeah 4.92 is 1.5 meters
