Hello all.

I've created a custom GPT with the intend to save resume of my conversation in Notion.
When I use my custom GTP, it works well, but my main purpose is to be able to use @ mention on a chat to resume and save that chat.

The pbm is when I use it that way, I've got this error message : _"plugin tool has been disabled."

=> What does that mean ? Where has it been disabled ? why ? and how to enable it again... if it is possible.

Is there anyone who faces this pbm ?

Just to know, the save is made using an action that calls an api deployed from Github on Render.

Thanks

I remember this error message recurring a few times. Once it happens once, the tool cycle likes to repeat it from historical context even though new actions can actually be called on occasion. The only way I've found to reliably resolve that is by opening a new chat. You could perhaps try branching from a previous message before the initial "plugin tool has been disabled" message.

Thanks for your reply Moph.
But new chat, new branch, on folder or on global context. Even new private windows does not work... same block.

I will try with something else than Google chrome... did not try yet.

Yes, from a previous message. I think it does initially give that error genuinely because something broke, and it could be anything. It might think your API is permanently inaccessible or similar. It may misinterpret the error sent from your API. The error this side isn't exactly helpful, as you are aware. Whenever it tries it in the same chat from there, it just remembers that it thinks it's inaccessible. So what I'm trying to say is, if there is something genuinely causing that error, then it'll happen across different chats, but if you fix it API and continue testing from the same conversation, you'll just get the same error. So if you alter your API and need to test it, use a new chat.

But I'm speaking there as if I know that's the issue, and I do not... It would be nice if there was documentation and error codes etc. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Postman is a useful tool for testing your API.

Good luck with getting it to work 🙂
